I was visiting Chennai because my son had to participate in a Basketball event at Jawaharlal Nehru Indoor Stadium and the location of this hotel is excellent for this purpose. The room and the bathroom was maintained well and it was clean.
The staff couldn't talk in Tamil, the local language. I felt uncomfortable because of this. There was no hot water to take bath even though they claim they provide hot water. My son had a tough time because of this. The car parking was very inconvenient (I guess I have to be thankful that there was some space for the car?). Somebody need to move their vehicle and help me out every time I had to park. Not much help from the hotel staff for this. The breakfast timing was from 8am to 10am which is not very convenient for people who have to leave early. It would be best to provide breakfast from 7am to 10am.
Sore Incident (May not be an issue for others): I couldn't have breakfast the first day because I had to leave by 7am. From the stadium I returned back at exactly 10am and requested for breakfast (I was carrying tiffin box) for my son who was in the Basketball event. But they disallowed this saying that I cannot carry food outside. Because of this I also didn't have breakfast there on the first day. They would have gained a loyal customer by providing breakfast (any quantity as a good will gesture) for which I have already paid (my booking was with breakfast included).
