Outstanding homestay, thanks Pooja and Aiyush

This homestay made my visit to Agra an absolute delight. From the start when they gave me tips for my train journey and contacted me with a very nice tuktuk driver, who waited for me outside of the station. They offer delicious food. It was a great location near Taj Mahal. The room was spacious, very clean and comfortable, I had a great sleep. Happy to help with anything, the owner also exchanged dollars for me so I didn't have to go anywhere. I felt very welcome, thank you.

Pooja and Aiyush are wonderful hosts and have a beautiful home. They are so welcoming, helpful and kind. They could not do enough for us and they helped us with booking tickets to the Taj Mahal, arranging a driver and helped us arrange our transport to our next destination. Without doubt, the highlight of our stay was the amazing food that they made for us.

The place was full of charm and character, while providing all the expected moderate conveniences. Would be ideal for a romantic break as it is one of those type of places you would remember for years. It's a shame i couldn't stay for longer.

Can't really say I didn't like as I was driving but you will need to balance peace and quiet and proximity to centre. I would say this is on the peace and quiet end

best family and food I’ve had in India

fantastic homestay our hosts are fantastic , arranged driver to tajmahal and red fort even booked our entry tickets. we ate every meal here breakfast lunch and dinners , Poojahs cooking was amazing and lots of it if I could rate them 11 out of 10 I would, there not now friends there family 👍👍👍👍👍

Simply, perfect.

Pooja and Aiyush went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. India can be very hectic sometimes, but coming here at the end of the day genuinely felt like coming home. The home cooked food was so tasty and seemingly limitless, the rooms were modern and private, and the atmosphere lovely. Pooja’s cooking class was a highlight too, and we’ve learnt many techniques that we’ll take with us and try at home. Aiyush sorted out all our taxis, and our tickets for the Taj Mahal too. Overall, we’ve been away for almost a year, so 330 nights in hotels. The 3 we spent here are my favourite of them all. Thanks so much guys!

Really nice stay

Pooja and Aiyush were the best hosts, it was like going to stay with your own family. The food Pooja cooked was honestly our favourite from our whole trip. They also arranged a rickshaw driver to stay with us for the day who was a contact of theirs and super helpful. Even after we left they were more than happy to help us with our issues getting to the next location. My boyfriend very much enjoyed playing chess with Aiyush in the evening too!

Nothing, perhaps a slightly softer mattress but that's personal preference!

Lovely home stay in Agra

The rooms are very comfortable and clean. Pooja and Aiyush are exceptional nice hosts! They serve a great self made North Indian breakfast. They are happy to support with transport and recommendations about Agra. Next time I’m Agra we will definitely stay again here.

extremely nice stay

Pooja & Aiyush are great and kind guests, they are extremely welcoming and make you feel like part of the family. We had both dinner and breakfast there, Pooja is a great cook and even taught us how to make the chapati bread she was making for us. Very kind people and very clean and cozy house. definitely recommended and worth coming back to.

If there was 11, I would definitely use it to rate this experience! The best host ever!

We travel a lot and I can say that we have never met such amazing hosts like Pooja & Aiyush! Their home is very nice and clean, location is great (in a quiet street but close to all main landmarks) and Pooja prepares extremely delicious food! Also, they help us a lot to organize our trip to India and provided fantastic recommendations. If you are looking for beyond ordinary experience in Agra, this is undoubtedly the best possible choice!

You will feel at home

Me and my girlfriend arrived from Jaipur to Agra and we were feeling a bit anxious about India and what a breath of fresh air this experience was. We felt so comfortable and welcomed in Aiyush and Pooja’s home. We had so much tiredness and tension accumulated that we just wanted to cry of happiness when they received and talked to us in their beautiful marble table. They are so nice, caring and make you feel so comfortable that I have no words for this. This was definitely the best stay that we had, not because of the house (which is great by the way) but because of them,so please, when you book your night please meet and talk with them because you will learn a lot about India (and you can also talk about your own culture). If you need a pick up from anywhere or a guide, ask Aiyush and he will help you with everything with always fair prices. He got us a great tuk tuk driver,Babloo, who showed us the town and got us a guide for Taj Mahal and at the end, it was cheap for a city like Agra, trust me. Also, try Pooja’s meals, they are so great that we even had a cooking session with her to learn more about Indian gastronomy. If you are in India because you want to experience new things and learn more about the culture, don’t go to hotels and definitely come here, it is without any doubt, the best option. Thank you for everything!

We couldn’t have had a better stay in Agra. Best hosts & food ever !

the hosts were so amazing. they bent over backwards to do everything to make our stay easy and nice. we had the most amazing food - all home cooked. they helped with out laundry since we were caught in a downpour. they gave us a lot of tips and insights. just amazing !

The couple hosting us were fantastic - so, so welcoming and helpful. The house itself is perfect for any travellers, with everything you need. And above all, the most delicious home-cooked food. A true highlight of the trip.

Lovely homestay a little outside the centre, with great hosts

Pooja and Aiyush were fantastic hosts and made us very welcome. Our room was great, with a very comfortable bed. Pooja cooked us very tasty breakfast and dinner - would recommend trying her food!

It’s a little bit further away from the centre of the city, lacking local shops, so you need to get a tuk-tuk if you want to get anywhere.
