We just had the most lovely four days at Dika homestay. We stayed in the two mountain view rooms upstairs, but the garden view rooms downstairs looked equally lovely. All rooms are in Wayans family compound so there are lots of opportunities to learn about Balinese culture. We had views of the rice terraces, Mount Agung and hillsides from our balcony.
Wayan offers Balinese massages, cooking classes, offerings classes and weaving classes. While we were there we did an offerings class and weaving class. She is a talented weaver. For both Wayan was patient, friendly and kind - sharing her knowledge and accommodating and involving our kids. She also arranged a guide to take us through the rice fields, a driver to take us to nearby waterfalls and sights and a visit to a silversmith to make our own rings. She also cooked us delicious meals for lunch and dinner.
Our Dika homestay stay has been an absolute highlight. 100 percent recommend.
Like all parts of Indonesia, there are roosters and dogs noises.

We had read the reviews and liked the idea of this unique experience staying in one of the small villa on the 2nd storey. We also requested to do a cooking class, as other guests had enjoyed. That was a real highlight for us. Wyhan and her son Kadek were attentive and super lovely. This was a homestay and a nice experience.
