Glorious seaside trip

Great apartment, comfortable bed. Just above Thorpeness cafe but couldn’t hear any loud noises.

Birthday visit

Location , view. All on one level. We'll equipped

Had to drive into Aldeburgh to replace half a roll of toilet paper which was all that was provided

fantastic

absolutely perfect. immaculate, amazing location right by the beach, coffee shop and lake, cute pub nearby too. would definitely stay again and fully recommend. I travelled alone and it was perfect and would be ideal for a couple or friends.

just needs a clearer sign for parking bay but no big deal as office that took the call was super friendly and helpful.

Lovely location but management needs to fix these issues to get top rating.

The location was excellent, the flat was clean and well-designed.

The guest instructions for the running of the apartment need to be rewritten and printed. We could not activate the hob, as the written instructions to the guests were inadequate. Breakfast had to be bought from nearby. The television instructions were also incomprehensible even to the two maintenance people who tried unsuccessfully to help us. The wifi instructions were on a torn piece of paper that was so folded amongst other papers and was difficult to be found. The earliest arrival time of 4 pm does seem rather late in the day, this has not been our experience with other properties, a well-travelled couple.

Home from home in a perfect holiday location.

Great location and very attractive contemporary accommodation. Comfortable bed . Well equipped kitchen area. Easy access via key locker. Books to browse in the apartment. View of the Meare and the lovely sunset from the balcony. Thoughtful touches such as outdoor chair cushions which sadly we were unable to use due to poor weather.

Would have been nice to have a few teabags and milk to have a brew when we arrived. Also a few sachets of shower gel and hair shampoo would have been appreciated.

An excellent comfortable stay.

Lovely clean, modern apartment with a comfortable bed and adequately equipped kitchen, modern cooker, microwave and clothes storage area. Lovely views from the balcony of The Mere with The House in The Clouds and Windmill in the distance.

Although allocated parking, it would be nice to have the information regarding the location in front of Thorpeness Emporium Antique Shop marked from 1 - ? . No 1 being the allocated slot.

Nice place to stay in and relax but also a great location to get out and explore the area

A really clean and comfortable apartment. Although only fitted with a kitchenette the addition of a convection oven makes it perfectly adequate for a few days stay and it was well equipped. Great location with views over the lake and close to the beach.

Clearer instructions about the parking space before arrival would have been helpful as it is labelled with the apartment number rather than the name (which was all we'd been given). One of the heaters wasn't working but when I called the company were very quick to provide electric heaters which kept it nice and warm so it wasn't an issue.

Excellent all round!

Location, cleanliness and comfort excellent. Kitchen was small but adequately equipped. Instructions for white goods and tv available, thankfully. The hosts had thought of everything, including binoculars, torches, reading materials and a selection of videos.

Although we had a detailed description of the location of the Boat House, it was not immediately clear that the flats were the ones we were looking for. Suggest signage on the wall near where key cases were with Flat names instead of numbers.

Relaxing and peaceful

Location was wonderful and good amenities next door

Only one toilet roll left for a weeks stay and one bin bag so had to get more.

Excellent customer service and good location, comfortable.

Well furnished and good for one person or a couple.

Balcony was close to café below. Not a problem though but view of lake slightly restricted.
