About this house rental
A fabulous family friendly or weekend away for a group 4 bedroom 2 bathroom home located in Dunsborough Lakes with easy walking distance to skate park and play ground located at the Dunsborough Recreational Ovals and a short stroll into town.
A 5 minute drive to Geograph Bay Beach waterfront which also has fabulous play grounds for small children and BBQ s for public use that are free.
Dunsborough Township is a fantastic treasure trove of great cafes and fabulous boutique shopping and 2 supermarkets for supplies for your stay.
The region offers brilliant natural wonders of rock pools, amazing beaches, great surf, hiking trails and man made hot spots such as wineries, breweries, chocolate factories and gin distilleries. Along with places to see our natural fauna - kangaroos in the wild if you look into paddocks. Simmos Icecreamery, The Wonky Windmill, Country-life Farm, EXscape Water Park, Berry Farm and the Yallingup Maze are favorites with families with young children.
The house is spacious with room for parking of 4 cars...2 living areas a comfortable spacious theater room for TV watching and an open plan kitchen, dining and living area thus giving everyone room and space to relax.
The outdoor area also has a few different seating options, a big dining area for your BBQ's, a small garden seating area for reading the paper and morning a high top bar table and stools near the dart again plenty of room for everyone to find their space. The garden is a cool green oasis and also has a fantastic outdoor shower with hot and cold water- great for the after beach wash off!!
Everything is well appointed and ready for you to just arrive and conditioning that is reverse cycle (heating & cooling) and also a wood fire to create that snug atmosphere in the cooler months.

Very well equiped home with plenty of space for everyone. Clean, tidy and comfortable. Although a little out of town was an easy and pleasant walk. Easy check in and we appreciated the early access. A great stay and would definitely recommend

We had a wonderful stay at Misty Retreat. The house was lovely and clean. The rooms were all well equipped with very comfortable beds which is a big plus. The kitchen had all we needed for our stay as did the great entertainers backyard. We would highly recommend this property for a stress free family get away.

Great location and overall very comfortable. The kitchen was well equipped and there were plenty of board games, which was a nice touch for families. The wood-burning fireplace and the thermal mattress system were definitely a plus, especially on colder nights.Just a few suggestions for improvement: for a group of 6 children and 4 adults, providing only one toilet paper roll and one laundry detergent pod per day felt a bit stingy. Also, there was no shampoo or conditioner available, which would have been appreciated.
