I loved the pool, and the room was incredibly spacious. The mattress was great, although the pillows were very hard, but the staff immediately offered to find me a softer one.
One of my favorite things was having my own little outdoor space where I could sit, read, and write. It made the room feel like my own little home during my stay.
The staff was by far the best part. They are AMAZING—kind, attentive, and genuinely caring. I got sick during my stay, and they even made me rice, which I really appreciated. They really go out of their way to make you feel looked after.
The property itself has so much potential, but I wish the owner paid a little more attention to the small details, especially because the staff clearly puts so much care into what they do.
The bathrooms could definitely be improved. The shower and toilet are not separated, so water splashes and flows everywhere. There is also very little privacy in the rooms because of the curtains. I wish there were a way to see outside without guests passing in front of the rooms being able to see inside.
I also didn't realize the property was not adults-only. Because of the layout, sound travels easily, so if other guests are not mindful when taking calls or talking, you can hear almost everything. Of course, that isn't entirely the hotel's fault, but it's something to be aware of if you're looking for a very quiet stay.
Some of the towels are quite old and even have holes. They were clean, so personally that didn't bother me too much, but it's one of those small details that could make a big difference. The kettle in my room was also old and rusty, so I ended up buying my own.
It's a little sad because the place could be really special with some extra care and maintenance. Above all, the staff deserves so much praise—they truly made my stay better and were wonderful throughout.

this is such a hidden gem among the craziness of ubud. it’s so close to the chaotic, yet amazing, madness of ubud town, but every time you enter the hotel, it feels like stepping into a little portal where you find peace. the waterfall by the pool really adds to that feeling. they have laundry service for as cheap as 25k per kilo, arranged a bike rental for us in less than 20 minutes, and it’s super walkable to nice restaurants and cafes, with a big supermarket just 2 minutes down the road
as I had a pool front room, the one thing I missed was having some privacy while still getting natural light into the room. once you close the curtains, it gets quite dark and you have to turn the lights on. maybe adding some sheer curtains would be a nice solution, but other than that, I had a lovely stay
