A place the owner doesn't have time for

There was a stove and kitchen utensils in the room to cook. The rooms were more or less clean, except for the cobwebs.

The pleasant first impression created by the photos of Villa Oliver3 and its high average guest rating gradually faded. The check-in process took more than 30 minutes to complete using both a smartphone and a computer, and the neighbours behind the property were making as much noise as teenagers at a disco. The accommodation description does not mention that there is no reception desk and that a smartphone is required, together with downloading an app, in order to access the property. As my stay continued, I discovered the following shortcomings: The room door cannot be locked. The television has no antenna, cable connection or digital set-top box, making it unusable. Wifi is only usable when most people are sleeping. The water pressure is so weak that there is a real risk of not being able to rinse the soap off properly while showering. The air conditioner regularly produces intermittent noises while operating, making it difficult to sleep. While fixing these issues may require time, money, specialised skills, or all three, some aspects of maintaining this property could be addressed easily and quickly if there were the willingness to do so. For example, cobwebs inside the room could be removed, and the lawn surrounding the building could be cleared of litter. I understand that, considering the price, it is reasonable to expect a basic standard rather than luxury. However, there is a significant difference between an economy accommodation and one that simply is not properly maintained.

very bad!!!

we didn't like ANYTHING!!! we were checked in 3 hours late!!! We were waiting at the door!!!!!!We arrived at the hotel to check in at 18:00 PM, and unfortunately, our room was dirty, not cleaned from the last visitors. It was very difficult to contact the owners!!! The chat manager answered, who is not interested in anything

They didn't even apologize to us!!! and didn't compensate for the damage!!! We came to Hungary to Lake Balaton to experience all the beauty, but instead we saw one disappointment!!! I don't recommend this hotel!!!! If you want to relax peacefully without any adventures, then book another hotel!!!!! I DO NOT

Everything

Nothing that I can complain

6 / 10Average·Apr 2023

This particular place was in a nice location, with a pleasantly large back yard with a fire pit and table to eat at. It also came with a private driveway to park ones vehicle at. Especially, when my group stayed here in early April, the price was quite reasonable for the four of us.

Unfortunately, the villa was lacking in certain amenities that would be quite helpful to one with a culinary mind. There was no cutting board, no sharp knife, and no sponges or wash cloths to clean up with. This made cooking somewhat of a challenge, though not impossible.
