Beautiful property, old stone hut modernised and very comfortable. Surrounded by trees, including some ancient olives, and great views. Very close to Kastron, with 2-3 restaurants, the castle and more, but also still with the feeling of being secluded - great combination, especially with kids.
On a very steep hill, making parking a big car tricky….. but this is kefalonia and the villa is on a hill so also something to be expected!

Beautifully set in a private enclosure in the picturesque hills of Kástron. A well equipped and charming 3 bedroom villa with all the needed comforts. The pool was a little small but it did it's job at the end of a day at any one of the amazing beaches.

Great location with lots of trees
While we did enjoy aspects of our stay, we were unfortunately quite disappointed with the condition of the villa, which did not meet the standards we expected in relation to the the price we paid.
It was evident that the property is not well maintained and it seems it hasn’t been looked after for quite some years. Some of the issues we encountered included water leaking through the ceiling above one of the showers, rotting window frames and doors, and most concerningly—a broken balcony railing that posed a serious safety risk and nearly resulted in a severe accident involving my wife.
In addition to these maintenance problems, the overall cleanliness of the villa left much to be desired, and the mattress in the main bedroom was extremely uncomfortable.
Given these issues, we would not recommend the property, and frankly, we had expected a more proactive response from the host. We also raised some of our concerns with the lady who came to change the sheets and towels (which was only once in 10 days) but we hadn’t heard anything further since
