Great location. We loved being able to jump on a tram either to the city centre or the coast or walk in.
Breakfast had everything you could want for breakfast and the restaurant served delicious meals.
Our only bugbear, on Saturday and Sundays during the summer, there is a rooftop terrace next door to the hotel that played very loud music, bit of a shock after being in the hotel for 5 days already and it being peaceful. The hotel was extremely helpful and moved us into another room. Fortunately, the boom boom music stopped at 11pm. 🙂

Staff were friendly, answered questions perfectly (English). Gem of a location, with the quaint tram no.1 passing in front of the lobby. Underground parking (extra cost). Air con worked! Duoro views :)
Felt the mattress springs just a tad. Slept well though.

Very friendly staff
Too far out & the booked taxi driver charged me an extra 4 euros on top of the 30 we were told to pay. No tissue in the room & the bed was not particularly comfortable
