The location was fantastic. The ambiance of the hotel was very nice. Staff very polite.

Lovely large room on 1st floor. Good location close to the hilly part of the the historic centre of Porto (not the river area) but in my opinion where all the best restaurants are. Good breakfast. Pleasant staff.
The sofa bed for my two children - we knew this was what they were having but it was VERY creaky. We took the mattress off the 2nd night and they slept with it on the floor - all good.

We liked our room and the balcony of our room.
The breakfast was basic, but we liked that as well.
We stayed a whole weekend from Friday till Monday.
There was only 1 cleaning during this time on Saturday. We expected another cleaning on Sunday because we wanted our towels to be exchanged, but no one came on Sunday to clean the room. We stated to the Guy at reception, on Sunday late afternoon, that we would like to get new towels if possible ASAP, he said yes, but we never got the towels.
The other downfall was the bathroom: the sealant around the shower is poorly done and moldy. The water flow from wash hand tap is too weak.
