The property is based in Cedofeita , which turned out to be our favourite area of Porto . It’s close to all the fabulous alternative food spots and shops but within walking distance to the Ribeira. Ubers are also super cheap in Porto so we had no worries.
Casa Antiga is a stunning property and it is a beautifully cared for ancestral home . Carolina was the the perfect host , she met us at the property and talked us through everything we needed to know .

Hotel is beautifully restored. The staff is friendly. Aircon was much appreciated.
There is no elevator and our room was on the top floor. Not only was it tough carrying luggage up and down the stairs, but after a long day of sightseeing and the numerous hills and stairs in the city, climbing another 6 flight of stairs feels like a challenge.
The bed could be more comfortable.

The hotel is super clean, very well located, quiet. The personnel is very helpful and pleasant.
Room was very small, and at the top floor with no elevator. Limited space for your belongings.
