Spacious clean and modern room. Good A/C. Good TV. Great shower with waterfall faucet. Very quiet room!!! The pool area is great. Just what I needed. Balcony off the room was great. Breakfast was pretty good. I have had better but this was really very good. Great bar and snack area with outdoor patio and decent music. Cedofeita street is a nice walking area w shops and restaurants. And a little grocery store a block away if you forgot to pack something.
Small pet peeves. No washcloths. No kleenex. Just toilet tissue. The gym is small but functional and no one is usually using it. Mattress had a nice divot in it - needs to be flipped.

Location was excellent. Staff very helpful with good recommendations.
Breakfast room was inside. When abroad i really like my meals outside.
The pool was the biggest disappointment- 8 beds for the entire hotel. Because of this I will not stay here again.

Clean, bright bedroom and bathroom, very comfortable bed. We really liked the location just outside of the really busy areas. Helpful staff. Small gardens around the pool were beautiful and overall the building and grounds were well kept.
We had asked for twin beds for our teenage sons but on arrival they had been given a double, although someone did get them an extra duvet. Very few loungers or space around the pool (people would save loungers early, even though the pool didn’t open until 11am, and stay all day) and the lovely outside bar area was closed on the Saturday for a private event which we weren’t aware off.

Large, clean, bright room. Lovely bathroom with an excellent shower. Very comfortable bed.

The service at breakfast was very poor. The food itself was good and very varied but the food items and crockery and cutlery were not adequately replenished. We went to breakfast at many different times, both early and late and this seemed to be the case at all times. Breakfast was served from 7.00am - 10.30am and one morning at 7.45am the staff were still preparing the tables and bringing out the food items. Nearly every day one of the two coffee sites had no cups or spoons. An empty honey squeezy bottle was there two days running whilst a large honeycomb was positioned in such a way that it was difficult to extract the honey from it. Several consecutive days, there were no black tea bags. I asked for them on two occasions. The first time they supplied some but on the second occasion I was told there were none available. I went back to my room to retrieve the two that were on the in-room tea/coffee tray. This tray was replenished daily. Why did the dining room staff not go to the chambermaid station to get some black tea bags?
