A wonderfully warm welcome and delightful, casual atmosphere. Nothing was too much trouble for Paula - she was always there when needed. The stunning 14th century priory was comfortable, extremely clean and beautifully decorated with lots of personal touches such as lots books to read, flowers in the room and throws to curl up in. We were immediately introduced to other guests and were able to spend relaxed times in the garden and around the pool chatting to them, whilst also being given time to relax by ourselves. Recommendations to various local attractions and events kept us busy during our stay and during our short time there we were able to find out a lot about the surrounding area. The lovely, well maintained garden was secluded and so so quiet and very very dark at night. We have never seen so many identifiable stars and planets. An absolutely wonderful break in an amazing setting. We left feeling as if we had made many friends. Our thanks to Paula, Alan and of course Ella!
