All the facilities you need for a short stay. Hosts are very welcoming and goodie basket is very kind.

The decor can be refreshed. Drain in one of the shower is blocked, water is draining very slowly. Mattresses are very soft for our liking.

Lovely people, quite basic, which is reflected in the price. Overall great value for money.

The showers (in every place I stay) needed a little attention to get them flowing. Honest and not pretentious.

The property is very well maintained and equipped for a family stay. Margaret and Roberto are excellent hosts, extremely kind and thoughtful. I would recommend The Chicken Shed to anyone wanting to stay in the Ashford area for a quiet break, but with plenty of amenities within a short drive.
