Very comfortable / tasteful. Great location. Immaculately clean. Very well equipped.
Maybe some signage at the gate. Despite clear instructions - none of us found it straight away.

Pretty cottage in a quiet village set in beautiful countryside. Fantastic views and in easy reach of Bakewell and the Dales. Well equipped kitchen, two modern bathrooms with good showers. Spacious lounge with cosy logburner effect fire, a great room for families. Two upstairs single rooms that I’m sure children would love. Beautifully furnished and decorated. Set in a courtyard with other cottages, a car parking space is provided a short walk across the road. Very helpful owner who replied quickly when we encountered a problem with the front door.

The facilities were great, it was very well equipped and the welcome hamper was a lovely touch.
The parking was a short walk away which was only slightly inconvenient as we have impaired mobility.

The property was more spacious than it appeared in the photos, beautifully presented and had absolutely everything we needed. The kitchen was exceptionally well equipped, with everything and more.
It’s in a lovely, peaceful location and is perfect for exploring the local area on foot. There’s a great pub just a three-minute stroll away with stunning views, while Lathkill Dale, Bakewell and Youlgreave are all on the doorstep for day walks.
We particularly liked the musical kettle! The host was also very responsive and helpful throughout.
There was also an excellent selection of books, with lots of literature relevant to the local area.
