If you’re looking for a great traditional apartment located amongst real Neapolitans then this is the place for you.
Situated just a 10 minute walk north of the MANN Museum and 5 minutes from the Materdei Metro station on Linea 1, Civico 30 is a split level apartment with great facilities.
The kitchen / dining room on the ground floor is well equipped should you wish to self cater with a comprehensive range of utensils and crockery plus a full sized hob. Plus there is an added bonus of a washing machine (ideal as we were touring for 4 weeks). The combined lounge bedroom is on the upper floor. French windows and a balcony overlook the courtyard and a washing line and pegs are off the balcony.
Furnishings are comfortable, loads of towels are to hand, the two TVs have complimentary Netflix access and the aircon was more than adequate.
Just two blocks away are a number of small shops selling everything from bread, cheese and meats to household goods. Just 5 minutes away a corner bar provided great breakfast bakery goods for an exceptionally reasonable price. 10 minutes walk gets you to a decent supermarket.
Fabio is a fantastic host. Pre arrival communications were excellent, not only providing details on how to find the apartment but also detail of local shops, tourist sites and transport links. He was also able to source our transfer from the airport.
On arrival, we were greeted warmly and given an extensive tour of the apartment and instructions on use of appliances and facilities. Fabio was always on hand via WhatsApp and was happy to answer all our questions.
Yes the apartment is away from the major tourist hotels but if you want to experience living in a true Neopolitan district then this property can’t be beaten. We loved the locals hospitality and friendliness, seeing Nonas chatting across the street from their respective balconies or gathered around an open door catching up on all the news. The hustle and bustle was infectious.

Fabio met us at the door to give us the keys and told us everything we needed to know about the property and how to get to different areas of Naples (including Pompeii) and gave lots of great recommendations. The apartment was clean, well stocked with coffee machine, cooking things and refrigerator as well as tv and air conditioning; perfect for whatever you want to do in the evening. Would absolutely recommend to any one wanting to stay in Naples.
I can’t think of anything that we didn’t like about the apartment, we had a great time.

The best thing about Civico 30 is the host's hospitality.😇 Fabio is truly a gentleman, always attentive and responsive. He welcomed us with gifts and always made sure we had everything we needed. His garden tomatoes were delicious. The house is in an excellent location , just 2 min walk to the best pizzeria in Napoli, Starita. 10 min walk to the historical center, the metro station and also supermarket Supero. Fabio has a very cosy house, everything is like the pictures. The neighbourhood is calm and safe.We really enjoyed our stay , hope to come back again. Napoli is a beautiful city and Fabio's place made our trip even better. You can enjoy pizzeria Starita and 50 Kalò, and make sure to visit Spaccanapoli in particular and the castles. You won't get dissapointed.

We enjoyed our stay & our host was very helpful. There was a bottle of wine and sweets in the apartment for us. The bed was comfortable. We were able to walk to all of the main attractions. Naples is a busy & noisy place but we loved this vibrant city.
