Loved it!

Wonderful country inn …fabulous room very clean and spacious with a slipper bath! Food excellent …lovely cosy bar area. Staff very friendly especially Richie and Chelsea! Fabulous location near to Lincoln well worth a visit ,and close to RAF Cranwell for aviation enthusiasts.

Great pub/hotel

Great pub with nice, clean rooms upstairs . Tasty, plentiful breakfast. And as a bonus the chef makes his own chocolate. Loved our stay. Can recommend 👍🏻

Very comfortable stay.

Excellent room. Was given a ground floor at no extra cost because my husband is disabled. The room was just like new.

Disabled parking was on a very steep slope.

Super stay in a lovely, friendly hotel.

The staff were so friendly, professional and attentive. We dined at The Finch Hatton on Thursday evening, the food was superb the setting was delightful in a very attractive dining room. Although our room was a little on the small size it had everything we needed, the en-suite was very modern with a super large walk in shower. Our only niggle, the bed was a little hard, however that's our problem in as much as we prefer a softer mattress. We loved our stay at The Finch Hatton Arms and we look forward to returning.

Will be my goto when working in the area.

Food was very good and bar was very cosy. Rooms were well furnished and a comfy bed.

Water pressure in shower was problematic and stopped flowing altogether 2 or 3 times.

Perfect.peaceful.spotless. breakfast is stunning

Stunning location..breakfast was to die for,very slight wait because everything came freshly cooked and not warmed up!!!!! Room was spotless..100% definitely going back and will try the evening meals next time..excellent value for money..extremely highly recommended!!!!!! A little jewel...

Two nights stay for family wedding

Location was good for our visit, country pub feel, plenty of parking

We had a room mix-up which was not worth sorting out for two nights. The drinks machine in the breakfast room was not particularly good, combined with open china cups drinks went cold really quickly. The toaster wasn’t brilliant either. The menu was not very vegetarian friendly and the vegan option, that we had to ask for, was just pasta and tomato sauce ( same as veggie just no cheese).

I was there fo two nights only. I have stayed at this hotel before and the standard is and has always been high.

Good rooms that have been re decorated recently. Staff were excellent as was the food. Great breakfast.

Room could have been slightly larger.

An excellent, independent hotel. Nice food, very quiet and comfortable.

Excellent breakfast, delicious bacon and mushroom, fried egg nicely cooked.

Sausage skins a little tough Problems with toaster I would have appreciated some comfortable armchairs in a private lounge for guests.

Rude staff

We were working a wedding. Very long hours. It overran so we called to ask if we could checkin after hours. They confirmed we could. They gave the key pad number to enter the hotel and told us our room numbers. In the middle of the night my colleagues were woken up - extremely rudely by a staff member, screaming that he was in the wrong room. He moved, albeit very shaken. The following day I called to let them know what had happened and to explain their out of hours system didnt work. I was told that it was my fault and that they had no idea who had answered the phone to us and essentially telling me I was lying. I hadn't made the room numbers up myself. I had written them down. Mistakes happen but this hotel have been so aggressive and rude to my colleague and me, I need everyone to know to avoid avoid avoid.

Staff very professional and friendly. Room very clean and bed extremely comfortable.

Dogs in the breakfast room who barked and started to fight. Not a relaxing experience first thing in the morning.

A nice last night for our month long Great Britain road trip

Nice food, room was good. Staff were friendly. Quaint village.

Alcohol seemed to have a good margin (high price). Water pressure for a 0630 morning shower was non-existent… it improved 10-15 minutes later. We had the room next to the kitchen air extractor- but it was switched off not long after 10 pm.

We had a most pleasant stay, and will definitely be returning

The breakfast was well cooked with lots of choice and served promptly and pleasantly. The village is close to the elderly relatives we were visiting so worked well, the downstairs room was perfect as my husband has mobility issues, it was a lovely modern room with all the facilities we require.

Unfortunately we had to walk round the building to get to breakfast, as I said, my husband has mobility issues and that proved difficult for him, but that was the only negative and it wasn't impossible just difficult

Needed Rubber Shower Mat ... Apparently available on request, but that is somewhat inconvenient in the morning!

Beautiful hotel for relaxing peaceful stay

Absolutely spotless. Staff were so helpful and polite. Breakfast just right balance of service and self help

Great find in a rural backwater!

Clean, modern rooms with friendly staff. Cosy bar with a real, traditional pub feel. If venturing out, I would recommend giving a 'hoot' to the excellent taxi service based just next door - Phil Hooton.

Really enjoyed our stay very much. Will definitely return.

Food and service were fantastic. Staff were kind enough to exceptionally serve us early breakfasts on both mornings to meet our needs to get away.

Just very minor observations: The mattress was very firm. Some extra shelving in the bathroom and or shower would be useful.

The shower should have slip mats it is very slippy I used the bath mat nearly fell twice
