Adorable staff, comfortable room, nice shower, separated from toilet! Everything went super good :) We really felt on vacation! Worth the 10-15 minutes walk to be in quiet on our cute bungalow!
Please clean the pool! We were there 4 nights and tried to enjoy the pool area but the bottom and ladder were super gooey!

The room was excellent. Lovely and spacious. Great bathroom and nice balcony space.
We couldn’t use the pool. The water was very green. Also no sunbeds.

The receptionist was lovely and very helpful (and the cute black lab was a bonus!). The rooms were really well designed with nightlights, outlets on each side of the bed, a big bed, and a spacious room and bathroom. The pool was really relaxing. Breakfast was simple (toast, butter, jam, fruit), but it was nice to have the option to add on eggs for a small fee.
Unfortunately, when we checked into our room, there were about 30 mosquitos zooming around in the bathroom. The shower tended to drip, as did the sink near the toilet. So, it seems like the hostel had some drainage issues, which can breed mosquitos. When mentioning this to the hostel, they gave us bug spray and, after pressing, also offered to spray the area with a more heavy duty mosquito spray. This helped a little but not completely. We also asked if they had a mosquito net, but they didn't have one. Other guests we met didn't have an issue with mosquitos, so after the first night, we asked if we could change rooms. There was another room available, but it was considered an upgrade, and we could only change if we paid the difference in price. While we don't expect a perfect room, we wished our concerns would have been better addressed by either providing a mosquito net and/or allowing us to change our room for no additional cost.
