The location was excellent, very close to St Mark's Square but without the price tag.
The apartment itself was just fabulous, very quirky very Venice and huge! Absolutely loved it.
If you expect clean lines and square edges, this isnt the place for you. If you want character, personality and something familiarly nostalgic pick this one....
The hosts were very quick to respond. Excellent communications. Couldn't of had a better stay in this beautiful city.
Hard to find, but I think everything is hard to find in Venice. The hosts were on hand on the end of the phone to guide us in.

Large place in an excellent location for a great price. The mattress was very comfortable and kitchen well-stocked; I especially appreciated the Nespresso machine and pods. The self check-in is also nice.
The air was notably musty and damp, which to some extent is to be expected in Venice, but a dehumidifier and/or air purifier would have made the place much more comfortable. Parts of the floor did not seem completely installed, presenting many trip hazards. The listing promised the door code would be sent two days before arrival but I had to reach out to the host, not receiving it until the day of arrival.

The location of the apartment is amazing and the host was very friendly, he responded promptly to our messages upon arrival and shared a tip for a restaurant in the area.
The entrance and stairway coming into the building downstairs is dodgy and dirty, feels like walking into a building site, not a 'suite apartment'. The apartment itself is divided into two big rooms, the living room area feels neglected, it didn't feel clean, nor inviting, and didn't look like the pictures in the listing. The kitchen area situated in the bedroom was clean, but poorly equipped for anyone who'd like to really cook food or make coffee (there was an electric coffee maker, but no pads). The floor is covered in linoleum, which in itself feels cheap, and is uneven in places and the hot water in the shower comes from a boiler which provides only just enough hot water for two short showers, so anyone who likes to take a long hot shower is in for a cold surprise.
