The hotel is in a peaceful riverside location on the banks of the Mayenne.
The restaurant serves an excellent evening meal. The servings are generous, very well presented and the waiting staff friendly and helpful (and they speak English).
It would be helpful if the bath/shower contained a rubber safety map and at least one handhold as taking a shower, especially for older people, includes the risk of losing one's balance.
