King Reef Resort

Pub was just next door, great atmosphere and great food. Staff very friendly and accommodating. Very comfortable beds, aircon and kitchen supplies. Nice swimming pool. The coffee and breakfast van just outside serves the best coffee and toastie.

The washing machine and dryer out in the communal caravan area need update, a good clean or replace.

Location on the beach was great, but booking.com (as do others) measure distance to places as a direct line. So said it was 9.5kms from Mission beach, but it was actually just over 30kms by road. It was really great to have the pub on site, we had some great happy hours and meals there. Coffee van out the front each morning was a bonus as well. We stayed in a one bed apartment which was very roomy, these are also part of the caravan park.

It’s just an old concrete block building and every noise from next door rooms is very loud, lucky for us they were not real busy when we were there. The bathroom is very tired but was functional and the shower was good but made a mess on the floor with only a curtain.

Not a lot of undercover parking parked under the trees and my car got covered in bird poop

Great value for a basic room stay , clean , next to the beach , caravan park with accommodation units as well. Offers meals for dinner in their bistro and has a outdoor cafe van for coffee
