We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful St. John's cottage and would happily return again in the future. From the moment we arrived, everything exceeded our expectations. The apartment was absolutely spotless and incredibly well maintained. We really appreciated the thoughtful welcome amenities, including a bottle of wine and delicious chocolates/cake. It was clear that the hosts had thought about every detail — nothing was missing in the apartment, and everything we needed was available. Communication with the hosts was excellent throughout our stay: friendly, helpful, and always quick to respond. The location was also perfect. Within a short walk, there is a supermarket, bakery, and butcher, which was extremely convenient. It’s also an ideal base for exploring the Peak District. One of our favorite parts of the stay was the lovely garden and outdoor space. Overall, a fantastic stay that we would highly recommend to anyone looking for a relaxing countryside getaway.
