Lovely cottage on a small bespoke estate of no more than 20 houses in Carhampton itself. Short walk to the pub and a delightful little church. Right on the doorstep to Dunster and Minehead. Wonderfully appointed throughout and a true eco house. We had a lovely time, and we'll be back!

The very thoughtful and thorough attention to detail of the host. The complementsry wine and fudge was very much appreciated. The property was wll equipped for a family with small children. There were plenty of toys and games to keep them occupied The swings and slide were a welcome addition. It was ideally located for a variety of local attractions. An outstanding experience. One of the nicest places I've stayed in

The cottage is lovely. It has everything you need for a great holiday. It was particularly good for us as we have 2 small kids who loved the garden and the swings. The location is quiet and easy to find although there is nothing in Carhampton, the pub and shop have both closed, so you need to travel 5mins into Minehead. Dunster Castle nearby and Butlins (Stay here rather than there!). On the whole we had a great week with no problems, the cottage had everything we needed.
Everything was great, the only thing was the amount of Ant powder and traps left in the dining room and lounge. Was a bit overkill and could cause some problems if you dont watch your young chiildren.
