Excellent location for day trips around Snowdon and surrounding area. Really nicely furnished and finished. Quiet. Kitchen area great for cooking and for storing hiking boots etc (side access to premises comes in through the kitchen, so no risk of getting mud in the lounge). Supermarket (Co Op) very close and a good resource of early morning pre-hike food shopping. Nice owners (had to txt them on day 2 to ask about logs). Two bedrooms - because i was away with a friend not a partner!
Car parking was fine for a large car (bmw 5 series estate) BUT be aware that you'll have to park sideways in the bay, and that means reversing down the final access road because there is no way to turn around. Log burner is primarily a water heater and therefore it doesn't emit much heat into the room, so you'll need to use the electric radiators when it's cold. Absolutely no problem, but it feels less cosy/quaint than i was expecting (compared to an open fire). This is a very minor point of course!

Fantastic location, beautiful views, cosy, very well equipped kitchen, with a nice walk into the town. The accommodation was very comfortable and quaint with a nice sunny garden. Outstanding information and communication from the host, including very speedy resolution of an issue we had. We loved the location as had booked the steam train (which you can walk to) and were easily able to drive to the Snowdon railway, the large Zipworld, and Portmerion in well under an hour. There aren’t many decent restaurants walking distance but there is a very good fish and chip shop and a reasonably big Co-op supermarket to pick up provisions for self-catering.
My elderly parents struggled a little bit with the uneven landing at the top of the stairs and also getting up to the raised garden. The vehicle access is tight and I’m not brilliant at parking so struggled a bit. As described in the prior information, you wouldn’t be able to drive a large car down the lane or park it. But only very minor issues.
