The location was really good: close to the bus stop from other cities and close to the stop of Trolltunga Shutlle. The hostel is well-equipped, you can find anything you need in the kitchen. The bathroom was also good. The check-in process was easy and understable. It's a good place to stay for 1-2 night for reasonable price in Odda and to hike Trolltunga and Buarbreen.
Hostel is hostel, so I prefered this type of accomadation only because of very high hotel/apartment prices in Odda for a lonely traveller. So you live with 11 other people in the room (when I was there there were less, so there were no queues to the bathroom). But for hostel it's a pretty good accommodation.

We were able to park which was a bonus. Shops, eateries, bars and the waterfront were in very close proximity. The location was quiet for sleeping.
The kitchen is small and has no window, and on our second night , as some occupants were preparing multiple meals for that evening and the day ahead, we waited until past our desired bed time to get access. By then the room was horrifically hot and smelly and not nice to be in. Apart from that the kitchen was well organised.
I had not read every detail possible about the place before arriving as I assumed there would be a receptionist. I was unaware of the drying room and second bathroom until after my stay. It would have been nice to know about those!

Great location and a good bed.
Showers and toilets need to be cleaned all the time in hostels. The bathroom was nice and good shower, but the drain needs som cleaning. Expensive for what you get.
