Hotel bien situé pour le Zugspitze.

Malgré un aspect d'un autre temps, lieu attachant et traditionnel. La serveuse du petit déjeuner du premier jour nous a donné des renseignements précieux pour nos activités.

Difficultés de stationnement. Le parking souterrain trouvé le premier jour était complet le second. Trouver un stationnement avec parcmètre fut laborieux.

Selten gehe ich in das Gleiche Hotel wieder, aber in dieses werde ich wieder kommen.

Das Personal war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit, das Bad absolut sauber, das Frühstück war ein normales Hotelfrühstück, aber man konnte immer noch nachbestellen. Der Kaffee war gut und die Atmosphäre entsprach meinen Erwartungen. Ich nutze die Unterkunft lediglich zum Nächtigen und Frühstücken, da ich den Tag über auf Wanderschaft war. Für diese Belange war die Unterkunft einfach fabelhaft.

Würde ich immer buchen!

Der Vermieter und sein Personal sind super freundlich! Das Frühstück und auch das Essen im Haus sind ebenfalls richtig gut! Ich habe den spontanen Aufenthalt sehr genossen. Würde ich immer buchen!

Excellent taste of German hospitality!

The location was great and in the middle of an old historic district. Many cool shops and places to eat, and not far away from a more modern area of town if that's what you're looking for. Their restaurant is also great and had live music! Very friendly staff that tolerated and encouraged my dad's attempts at speaking German, and had conversations with us about the area and our trip.

There's nothing that I disliked. If I go to the area again this property will be top of mind! Note that if you're driving to the property, look up a parking garage. There's one on a street named Badgasse that's a short walk away that we used.

Restaurant connected to hotel and live music made a pleasant surprise

What is surprise! In the old town and connected with a bustling restaurant. Live music, and very enjoyable.

The parking situation around the hotel was not the best.

Cute place to stay

Nice placement. Cute room and common areas decoration. Good breakfast.

It is not hotel fault... :) There is church nearby and the church clock strikes every 15 minutes, so take earplugs for sleeping during the night

A beautiful stay

The rooms are comfortable and the restaurant below is excellent- the live music made this our favourite evening of our stay! It is in the loveliest part of town and is a close walk to the train station. The staff are very helpful and we’re kind enough to pack us a breakfast when we had to leave early one morning.

Only thing missing was a kettle and fridge in the room

Great location in the Partenkirchen. 4 min by car to the Zugspitze train station. Breakfast is plentiful. Staff were helpful. Rooms were tidy. There is a restaurant with it.

Although the wooden steps can get too loud. No lift. The instructions for check-in and check-out could be a little bit clearer. There were no free water with the room in contrary to the description.

Friendly staff, amazing location

Amazing and scenic location in town with an amazing view. Sightseeing and exploring town can all be done on foot. Great breakfast in the morning was included and the food available in the restaurant downstairs was delicious. Staff was very friendly, welcoming and very accommodating during our stay.

Alfred the owner was very helpful and friendly,he let me check in early and he upgraded my room because my room had a wifi problem . and i even made him book me a taxi at 8 am which is quiet hard in garmisch.

Great stay with comfortable rooms and nice quiet street outside

Great place with breakfast each morning and in a really nice part of the town, good facilities and nice room

Walls were thin so I could hear the neighbors tv, was kinda hard to find the place but once I got into the pub that it’s above and asked a waiter it all worked out. There was a street lamp shining right into my window but I’ll just put that down to bad luck on my part.

Hotel is great and the restaurant even better!

-The hotel is great (lovely street of Partenkirchen, great price/value) and best offer around for a budget under 150€/night -The restaurant of the hotel is even better. All homemade great south German cuisine at a super fair price (+-17€ per dish) with a lovely typical but not touristy atmosphere and a lovely staff. We ate there every night and didn’t dare to check something else in town

Not much. Only small things such as more noise insulation in the rooms and a bit more not-german speaking friendly

Great experience

I highly recommend this accommodation. Located on a beautiful main street, the rooms are classic and comfortable. I shared bathroom (which was very clean and in good condition) but there was a little sink in the room which I found quite convenient. The staff is wonderful, attentive and friendly. The hotel has a classic german restaurant just downstairs which is quite convenient. The breakfast is exceptional! On my last day, they prepared a lunch-box for me because I had to leave before breakfast time. Great experience, I'll be back!

if I had to look for a drawback the only thing I could say is the bed was sinking a bit towards the middle. Some people don't mind that at all or even like it!

Unbeknownst to us the hotel is situated in the most famous street in Garmisch-Partenkirchen

The staff was not very welcoming. There was no beverages in the room and no kettle or fridge available.

Very friendly staff, beautiful location, good breakfast.

Beautiful location on cobble stone street. wonderful breakfast.

The parking was in a garage not too far away, so that was only a minor inconvenience. $5/day.

The location on Ludwig Strasse was perfect! I loved being on this historic and charming part of Patenkirchen! The restaurant with very good German food was great and the live Bavarian music was what I really wanted.

We stayed in Room no. 8 after we cheked out, we directly go to doctor because my partner is suspected with bed bugs bites. And as a result after check up on the same day as we check out. The doctor told us that my partner bitten by the insect that usually gets in the hotel. He is currently taking now antibiotics because some of the bites is infected, anti itchy creams and antihistamine. Sadly this is the first time that happened to us after several booking that we made under the Booking.com platform. Hopefully this will serve as a lesson. They must check every room for cleanliness and safety of the guest.

Overpriced rooms above a pub...

OK location, but a bit far from the main train station / hautbanhof. Breakfast was fine, but no choice [only cereal was chocolate muesli, wouldn't be my first choice]. No eggs for breakfast, unless you could speak German apparently. Basic guest house rooms.
