Totally recommand !!!!! I will be back to see Robin 🐶🥹💕

Tarzan is definitly the BEST stay i had in my whole bali trip !!!! The staff is soooo welcoming and calm , always saying good morning and asking is everything is okay for you. They came everyday in the room to make the bed and adding more filtered water for you. They were there to answer any questions i had and they even booked the Manta point snorkelling experience for me. The lady gave me a ride to the meeting point. And what can i say about Robin ???? 🥹🥹🥹🥹🐶🐶🐶🐶🐶 if you like the bali dogs i would say book this hotel just to meet the cutie Robiiiinnn. In just 3 days i felt home, everytime i came back to the hotel he was running to me, so hapoy to see me as if i was staying there for a month !!!! Such a cutiiiiie , i miss Robin 🥹💕🐶 The property is very close to Penida Colada restaurant, where i had literally all my meals on the island. No joke it’s the only restaurant who has a vibe imo. Live music from 7pm and the food was sooooo amazing. And the drinks too. Make sure you order this octopus plate. And a margarita 😏

The property is close to the main road and it was easy to find but the little 500m that separates the road to the hotel was kind of hard core and almost dangerous for a beginner scooter driver. But i would say it’s worth it for the amazing stay 🥰

Welcome to the Jungle

Eine wunderschön ruhig im Dschungel gelegene Unterkunft, die aber trotzdem zentral genug liegt um Hafen, Tauchschulen und Strände bequem und schnell zu erreichen. Die Zimmer sind sauber und bieten alles was man braucht. Die zur Anlage gehörende Sportsbar bietet eine breite Auswahl an leckeren Speisen, gut gekühlten Getränken und man kann sich wunderbar Tipps für Aktivitäten auf und um Nusa Penida abholen und auch sonst wirklich interessante und witzige Gespräche mit dem Personal führen. :) Das Frühstück ist super und die Unterkunft bietet auch einen Fahrer inkl. Auto so wie Roller zum mieten an. Uns hat es an nichts gefehlt und wir würden jederzeit wiederkommen.

Such an amazing family run guest house, such an amazing and friendly family! We loved the exclelent food (chickjen curry was insane), the fantastic location, just off the main road but it felt like we were in the mountains amongst the palm trees. The location is walking distance from to the bars, restaurants and dive schools, but when we needed to go further the resort were gvery happy to drop us off and pick us up for a small fee. Would 100% recomment this little gem.

Allowing smoking in the bar/ restaurants, while guests are eating is not ideal... but understand this is hard to manage!

Do yourself a favour and stay at Tarzan Marriot!

Everything! After my first night at Tarzan I immediately knew I wanted to stay for my entire time on Nusa Penida and rebooked immediately. The owners and family, all of the staff, everyone affiliated with the property are incredibly lovely humans. You can't not be happy here. Beautiful location off the main road with jungle vibes, fantastic pool and brilliant, gorgeous, clean and comfortable rooms. Breakfast is DELICIOUS, now I am addicted to their cheesy omlette! The rest of the menu for lunch and dinner equally delicious and in day/night is open as sports bar with big TV streaming sport events and great drink menu selections. Arik made me one of the best margaritas I've had on the island. Many thanks to Tarzan Marriot, I will be back! 🙏🤠💚

We loved it! We highly recommend

Everything was perfect. The staff is super helpful (I never saw a staff that nice with us!). It was super easy to rent a scooter. The room was clean. Again, the staff is adorable, they will do everything they can to help you with any trouble you may have!

There is hot water, but don't take a long shower or it will get cold, not a big deal. The wifi was not available in our room but works perfectly on the balcony and in the lobby/restaurant.

lovely little jungle sanctuary

Lovely staff who were always smiling, kind and helpful. Room was spacious, clean and comfortable, and nice and quiet. Cheese omelette for breakfast was delicious! location was excellent, close to both harbours and lots of shops and restaurants etc. Scooter the easiest for getting around on this island!

The pool was a little smaller and shadier than we thought from photos, but it was still beautiful and clean. just didn’t spend as much time there but you don’t need to worry about this when there are some pool clubs / venues you will likely spend the afternoon at anyway.

Bit disappointed

The staff was so lovely and helpful. The room was very big and the terrace super cozy.

The smell from the bathroom gave me headache. It was so intense that it was hard to sleep. I took showers on a diving school instead of being in the bathroom. There was no soap, shampoo or body gel. all bottles was just empty. the road to the apartment is not very funny if you are going home alone. It’s dark and there are dogs and pigs that can get scared of you. Two nights was ok because I had many plans but I wouldn’t recommend it for longer time

Beautiful jungle experience in excellent location

- Great Location, a few minutes walk from main road and you’ll feel like you’re in the jungle - Exeptionally welcoming and attentive staff - Nice and spacious rooms surrounded by coconut trees, great atmosphere - Family business, mother cooks delicious food, manager Arik is a knowledgeable tour guide as well - Trips, transportation can be organised on the spot, safe bike rental, good bikes - Nice pool

Nothing really, I wish I could have stayed longer! - One time there was no water so we had to wait maybe an hour, was no problem though - For some solo travellers, the walkway to the hotel might be too dark at night and a bit bumpy by scooter, but that applies to the whole island in general, we didn’t have an issue with it

Wonderful Retreat at a Family-Run Place

What a lovely place to stay. This feels more like a home stay than a hotel, and you’re a guest of the family. The place is immaculate, and the restaurant is so good. The included breakfast was one of the best that I had in a month of traveling. Highly recommend the property.

The room was clean and spacious. There was everything I needed. The staff was extremely nice and helpful. Breakfast was amazing and they adapted the hours to my tour around the island. I got a tour from the property and the guidance was exceptional.

The area was a bit quiet, but I am sure this was due to the rains.

Arik is the best host you can get. When we had a flat tire, he brought us a new scooter, he took care of us when we got sick and he even brought an item we forgot when we we're in the taxi to leave the Island. The family is lovely and it feels like home.

Budget hotel with nice staff. 9

Friendly staff and service. Clean room. We took a trip which was arranged by the hotel and it was fun and they also tooknus to the lunch and buy fruits etc. It is affordable hotel for couple nights with the warmest welcome.

In bathroom was moldy smell. The breakfast was modest. Only few options and no fruits. It was little scary place because it was in the forest and especially when was dark. Also angry dogs too much around so take a scooter if possible.

The staff! Absolutely incredible and sweetest people on earth. We felt like home. :) The manager even went to the store to buy us some chocolates because they didn't had in the restaurant. <3 And when our friend felt bad he made her a coconut turmeric drink and took us to the doctor.

Calm location nearby to good restaurants and long white beach. Very friendly staff ready to help and answer any question. We even got borrowed sarungs when we decided to visit temples :-) I hope to come back soon!

V disappointed. We left after 1 night.

It is off the main road, so it is quiet. The pool looked nice, but didn't get round to using it.

The room was 2 big rooms with stained tiles and poor lighting with just one small window. It was quite cell-like. The bedroom had cables hanging off the wall - the AC unit didn't have a controller so the cable was pulled out so you could turn it on and off. It is completely soulless, and despite being told it was a new property, it was in poor condition. There was no where to hang or put anything, so we had to just use the floor. We felt a bit harassed by the staff - they were hot on us as soon as we left the room. It felt a bit weird, but is possibly because we were the only people there. We had booked 3 nights but left after 1. I'm sorry to say that if I was travelling alone without my partner, I'd have felt really insecure.
