Beautiful location with wide open spaces. A great hotel to relax, enjoy the pool, and take in the scenery. The staff were exceptional and attended to every need and request. The room was excellent and well sized.
The wifi in the rooms was non-existent and only available in the common areas. The breakfast was limited, and the baked goods were shop-bought and not of great quality.

Villa Pitiana is a true palace, with a beautiful atmosphere from the reception to the rooms. The first-floor rooms (4, 5, 6, and 7) are particularly impressive, with very large spaces, high ceilings, elevated beds, and spacious bathrooms. We stayed in room 7, which had both a bathtub and a shower, a double sink, bidet, and toilet. Complimentary bottled water was also provided.
The villa’s pool is clean and spacious, open until 8 PM. The entrance area in the pool is shallow, but after the steps it becomes quite deep, around 2 meters. There are many shaded areas, a large landscaped garden, and even an outdoor fitness area next to a small pond.
The restaurant is good; we tried both breakfast and dinner, and the food was consistently tasty, from beef tartare to pasta. Drinks are reasonably priced.

The only downside is that going to the bathroom at night requires going down one floor using old, creaky stairs.
For us, this was not a disadvantage, because the room is so beautiful, especially with its painted ceiling, that nothing could overshadow its charm. The villa is also set in the middle of the Tuscan hills, with a stunning landscape and particularly beautiful sunsets.

Tricky with Wi-Fi mainly in the lounge downstairs.

Tough to catch the train into Florence, walking, felt too far and parking was impossible.
