The breakfast was what you would expect from an upmarket French establishment. Fresh fruit from the area, baguette and pastries (we took the uneaten ones for the journey), home made preserves, it rrally set us up for the day.
Perhaps checking in, the original gate to the property has been closed up (wide enough for a cart, maybe, but not modern vehicles) and the new entrance is not that obvious.

Le calme et la literie.
Le ménage était grossièrement fait, on sentait le renfermé. Beaucoup de toiles d’araignées, poussière et cheveux sur la grille de douche.
