Nestled in Friday Harbor, this charming condo for $327 per night is a fantastic choice for your next vacation. *** This home is people friendly, and not pet friendly. *** You will feel like you’re living in a postcard when you stay at The Ferry Landing Suites! The Elwha Suite is a delightful two bedroom condo located on the center level of a landmark building just a few steps from the heart of historic Friday Harbor. There is no accommodation more convenient for walking from the ferry landing or seaplane dock should you choose to leave the car behind on the mainland. When you do bring the car, there’s a coveted on-site parking space reserved just for you. You will find all the attractions and activities that Friday Harbor has to offer within a short stroll, including whale watching excursions, kayak adventures, local shops, fine galleries, theater, and an eclectic selection of restaurants. As an added bonus, there’s a coffee shop on the lower level where you can sip your morning latte, enjoy fresh baked goods, or enjoy a fresh fruit smoothie. During the summer, perch up on your balcony above the bustling street to enjoying watching the ferries glide in and out of the harbor. During the fall and winter months, you will find the Elwha a wonderful place to snuggle up indoors and enjoy the quiet, reflective atmosphere cherished by the locals. The Elwha Suite is beautifully furnished, featuring two equal bedrooms, both with queen-sized beds. The living area is spacious offering a sleeper sofa, full kitchen, and dining table. A perfect choice for two couples or small family. This unit is people friendly, and not pet friendly. Interim cleaning is available on request. Please note this condo has 17 steps to get to the entrance. We had a wonderful stay at the Elwha Suite, right in the heart of Friday Harbor! The view of the harbor and watching the ferries come in was so beautiful and it was easy to get to all the nearby restaurants, coffee shops and stores! It had all the amenities we needed for a nice weekend getaway and would definitely stay there again!

This is the perfect location if you are looking for a true Friday Harbor downtown, ferry area stay. It's all right there and a GREAT location. Be aware that there is no air conditioning in this and in most properties in the Islands. The owner provided fans and the windows could all be opened. Literally walk ANYWHERE.

Without knowing much about Friday Harbor, we lucked into this place and it was the perfect choice. We had 2 grandparents, 2 adults, and 2 children. Views of the ferry, seaplanes, and all the activity in town, plus walking distance to everything in town. Thanks for a perfect “bucket list” experience!

This property was well represented in the listing. We loved the view, loved the location and all that was around us. The restaurants, coffee shops and ice cream shops were great for our teens to independently go to.
My feedback: there is no AC and the afternoons get hot. We were there early June and I can’t imagine how hot it is later in the summer.
I saw great reviews on the noise and wanted to weigh in on that as well. The noise of the restaurant next door was never a nuisance. The ferry does make noise most of the day but it doesn’t impact the ambiance. The only noise that did impact us was the coffee shop downstairs. The noise traveled greatly in the mornings and woke us up early. If you are an early riser, it will not affect you.

The location is convenient, the view stunning. We enjoyed our stay. The place was clean and comfortable.
There is no air conditioning and only one small portable fan, so on very warm days with little breeze, it might be a warm sleep.

The remaining days we were there temps were in the 70s and the rental was much more comfortable. It was somewhat noisy with the windows open given the close proximity to the ferry line up, but this didn't bother us that much. There's no laundry, which I didn't think would be a problem until our daughter developed a stomach bug during our stay :/ Overall it was a great location close to everything and we enjoyed watching the boats on the harbor. Will probably rent with somewhere with AC/laundry in the future.

We had an absolutely amazing time. The location is perfect, the lodging clean and cozy and despite reviews that the coffee shop was loud, it didn't bother us at all. Easily walkable to everything and watching the ferries from the huge window was amazingly entertaining. Communication with the property managers was also outstanding. Can't recommend enough.

Location was great. There is a coffee shop below you and another rental above you - both were very noisy! If you stay here, bring ear plugs/white noise and eye masks due to brightness. One room has a skylight above the bed with no blinds. Also, the bedding smelled very strong of fabric softener/detergent. I wish rental places would stick to unscented to accommodate those who are sensitive.. We were also bummed to find no basic condiments like salt/pepper, olive oil, etc. The bay window was awesome and the personal porch we enjoyed while the sun was out. Overall a nice place, just some minor inconveniences.

This place was amazing! My family stayed here for a weekend wedding in Friday Harbor. My children loved watching the ferries come and go, and we loved being able to pop downstairs to the coffee shop in the mornings. The condo was very clean, well stocked, and the communication with the managers was great! Would definitely stay here again!

We had a fantastic stay at this property. The view out the bay window was exactly what we were looking for. The location was right in the middle of everything in town.
Yes, you can hear the coffee shop downstairs in the morning. But the view and the great coffee aroma more than makes up for the noise. We would happily book this property again.

Great location, comfortable bed and pillows! The linens were great quality. However, there was a very old and large chunk of some food(?) product in the kitchen sink that had been there long enough to have dried up. We messaged the management company and while Kyle from NW Islands Escapes was very responsive, we didn’t hear from the property manager until about 20 hours later. We also noticed that the fan from the closet had a used face mask and wired headphones stuck to it. Our only complaint is housekeeping and responsiveness from the property manager.
