About this condo rental

Located in Porthcawl, this charming condo for $88 per night is a great option for your next vacation. Space Versatile large 4 bed apartment, big light and airy lounge/diner with kingsize sofa bed, 2 bathrooms and plenty of space over two floors. To accommodate parties of all sizes from one person to seven people we charge a base nightly rate that includes one person. Then we charge a per person per night fee so that it makes it fair for everyone whether you are two people or nine you will pay a fair price for the property. The property is brand new throughout as we've recently refurbished the whole building. Guest access The whole apartment. If only a couple of guests just the one floor. If you need more bedrooms there are 3 more on the floor above. The main entrance is a street level and access to the living and sleeping areas is up one set of stairs where there is a bedroom, bathroom and kitchen and up another flight of stairs for second bathroom and bedrooms. Guest interaction We live in Newport and our housekeeper Rhi lives in Porthcawl so are around if you need us. We are also on the phone 24/7 for anything you need! Neighbourhood overview Lovely seaside town with loads of activities come rain or shine. My place is close to the beach, great views, parks, restaurants and dining, shops and cafes, Trecco bay theme park and swimming pool. You’ll love the high ceilings, the views, the location, and the people. Getting around Plenty of public transport within walking distance. Other things to note Depending on other bookings check in and out can be flexible. We don't have our own private parking, however there are a few street parking spaces directly outside the property and also available in nearby streets. If a space directly outside is not available when you arrive you can unload and then drive to find a parking space. We are listed as Verified Accommodation with Visit Wales.

Very spacious property, very close to town, 5 mins walk to the beach front. Only down side is parking but you can. Unload and load at the property, if you hold a blue badge you’re ok to park.

Overall we were pleased with this rental. The location is excellent for accessing restaurants and other services in Porthcawl … an easy walk down to the shoreline and beyond. The unit was very clean and reasonably spacious. There are a lot of stairs, no problem for us but if anyone had a mobility issue this might be a challenge. We used two of the four bedrooms, other bedrooms were locked so would not have been good if we had needed a third bedroom in the event someone was unwell. We found the recycling/garbage directions a bit confusing or unclear. Further, the unit advertised having a laundry machine, but we never found it and the owner did not respond to my inquiry. There are two good bathrooms, both side-by-side on the main level but not close to the upstairs bedrooms, again a small inconvenience. Parking is available on all the adjacent streets, but sometimes involved a bit of circling the area to find a spot, but that would be the same for most rentals in the inner core. Beds were reasonably good and living room furniture was comfortable. All in all an acceptable rental.

The place was clean and had beautiful decor. It was exactly as it was described. It was in a very convenient place for the beachfront, restaurants and grocery store. It was great value for the money.

Since we used this apartment last year, it has been redecorated, even though it was lovely the first time! Alexlouise provided a good travel cot and suitable toys and games for the children. She has also modernised the lighting. Would definitely book again. Highly recommended.

The photographs do not do this place the justice it deserves. It kept very clean and to a high standard. The cupboards have pretty much everything you need. There were milk, biscuits, tea, coffee sugar and a cupboard full of condiments. There is a large co-op about 2 minutes away on foot. There is plenty of on street parking available all day and evening. Lovely warm house what more can you ask for.

The accommodation and location was perfect. There were only 2 of us but could see how the flat would easily accommodate more people. Pictures didn’t do the place justice, the flat was gorgeous and super comfortable. Communication with host was spot on, and they were super responsive. Would recommend without hesitation and will stay again

there were no instruction booklets to control the cooker tv or heating, the bathroom is very small and the lack of a anti slip ma t in the shower is very dangerous.no kitchen roll and plastic glasses and only six hangers in wardrobe

Very nice accommodation split over 2 floors. All rooms a good size and clean. Handy location so can walk to most things in town and the beach (would drive to Rest Bay). Supermarket just around the corner. Street parking. Perfect for our 4 night stay.

We stayed here over Christmas and found the apartment to be very welcoming. The furnishings and decor made it really comfortable and it had all the amenities we needed. All rooms were spotlessly clean and well maintained and communication with the owner was very easy. The property is very close to Porthcawl town centre and a very short and easy walk to the seafront. We thoroughly enjoyed our holiday here and hope to visit again in 2019.

Set on two upper levels accessed via a side entrance, the property is spacious and well laid out, two modern bathrooms and a great kitchen area, a good size double bedroom and comfortable living room on the first floor while two more good size bedrooms are available up a second flight of stairs. Shops are within a few minutes walk as are bars and the sea front made for an enjoyable week, the only snag is parking nearby, not a huge issue but I guess that it is to be expected in a popular area of the town, would certainly recommend to friends and family as we had a great week of weather to enjoy our time here.

Lovely place to stay and owners very approachable and reply very quick. Rooms are very clean and nicely decorated. No faults at all but if I had to say something it would be that I was expecting parking on the street, outside the house. We had to park two streets away. It was a superb place though. Coop a couple of mins walk away, can walk to the beach. I would thoroughly recommend this place with no hesitation.
