If you have ever seen the TV show "Buying Alaska," you know one of their opening lines is...In Alaska, the real amenities are on the outside. The same applies to Kure Beach. When your trip brings you to Kure Beach to enjoy all those amenities, I invite you to make the most of your trip with a stay at The Heart of the Sea. The Heart of the Sea is like no other at Kure Beach. Ground floor….corner unit….no stairs….with parking less than ten(10) feet from your front door! While not considered “handicap” approved, access to our unit with no stairs makes for the perfect vacation home! Step out your door and enjoy all that Kure Beach has to offer!! The Heart of the Sea is as close as you can get to the ocean at Kure Beach......unless you are in it! The Heart is ten(10) steps from the beach access. The beautiful bedroom has a new, comfortable queen size bed, 2 night stands, chest, and wall mirror....double closet with plenty of storage space... and a 25 inch TV. There are 2 bunks in the alcove with storage drawers for all those bathing suits and stuff the kids will want to bring! The living room furniture is so cozy and comfortable. You can sit in a favorite chair, on the sofa or in the recliner and still take in the amazing views without leaving the house! Charter Spectrum is both the internet and cable provider. You can enjoy the Spectrum Bronze package on the 42 inch smart TV. One bath....with tub and shower combo, lots of counter space and a washer and dryer for your convenience . Your fully equipped kitchen has a Mr. Coffee maker for your favorite cup of morning Joe. A built in microwave and counter top toaster oven are included for your convenience. Complete kitchen supplies are there for your use if you decide to eat in, possibly enjoying some of the locally fresh seafood. You will have a 180 degree view of the 41.1 million square mile Atlantic Ocean! Can it get any better? Yes! It can and it does! Sit in the one of the two hammock chairs on the deck once and you will never want to leave this island paradise! A charcoal grill for your use is located in the sand yard. Watch the dolphins play as you enjoy a meal on the built in deck bar! Don’t miss a thing trying to peer over the railing. When in the mood for sand and surf, bring your beach chairs and umbrella from home or utilize one of the local rental companies, that book you've been wanting to read.... and sit on the quiet beach that is literally seconds from your door! Let the magic happen! So much to do in the area and still feel like you have your own private island! The NC Aquarium is 1 mile away. The Civil War rich Fort Fisher is adjacent to our property. This property includes approximately 1/4 mile walkway where you can revisit the protection the fort provided the Port of Wilmington. Take time to visit the visitor's center and view an audio visual program telling the history of Fort Fisher. The ferry is app. 2 miles away! For $7, you and your vehicle can cross the Cape Fear River to the amazing little town of Southport. We want your experience to reflect our appreciation of our guests and of all our blessings! Our vacation was the last week of October and it was perfect! The condo is clean, decorated nicely, recently updated and the host responded very quickly to our questions. I highly recommend if you are looking for a relaxing time by the ocean!

My wife and I wanted to take one more beach trip in early September to officially close out summer. We found this absolute gem, and when I say ocean front, it doesn’t get anymore oceanfront. Easy to locate, clean and charming. We were more than happy and will absolutely be back next year. Thankful for good property manager/owner too.

This was more than exceptional. Beautiful home, great location! Could not get any closer to the water. We had everything we needed and more provided for us. We can not wait to book again!! Host was great and communicated great with us!! We had tge best time at The ❤️

We had never been to Kure Beach before, we had the best time. There was so much to see, we are going to have to come back to see more! The views absolutely wonderful! As for the food, Shrimp and grits was the favorite . I would highly recommend The Heart of the Sea!

Our stay was excellent, despite tropical storm Ophelia. The owner checked on us to make sure we arrived safely, kept us updated when we lost power for a bit, and even extended our stay to compensate for the temporary loss of use we experienced. Highly recommend!!

My husband and I enjoy our stay at the Heart. The ocean view was amazing. This is the closest you can stay to the ocean without being in the water. The place was very inviting and and had water views from standing in the kitchen to standing in the living room with surrounded views of the ocean. Very relaxing stay. Can't wait to come again.

This little condo is the closest you can come to being on the beach without touching the sand!! The view is amazing and the surroundings are lovely. I can’t recommend this place more!

We only had a few days stay but it was the best setup. The location was amazing and I’m in love with the back deck! My kids really enjoyed the house as well, it had everything we needed and everything we didn’t know we needed.

Great place, super cozy. Incredibly convenient parking. RIGHT on the water—high tide is at the front door. Beautiful spot right near the aquarium. Steve was great with communication. Bunk beds were great for 9 & 8 year olds.

We absolutely loved this place!! It was the perfect surprise stay for my hubby’s birthday and we plan to be back with our kids. You couldn’t ask for better views! We even decided to order in and eat on the porch because no restaurant could beat that view! And the condo is charmingly decorated. Thanks again for allowing us into your beautiful home!

We’ve been visiting Carolina Beach and Kure Beach for over ten years, and when selecting a VRBO spot, ocean front is a top priority. It simply DOES NOT get more ocean front than this condo! We had an incredible stay and will 100% be coming back to this lovely condo from now on. The patio swing chairs were definitely a highlight, as well as the perfect sunrise if you’re up early enough. This property has the best view of the beach! I could sit on the balcony for hours. The beach is about 5 steps from your door and you are minutes from shops and restaurants. The property owners are easy to reach and super helpful! We will definitely be back!

This was the perfect place for my wife and I to enjoy our anniversary together. Our hosts Rita and Steve were very prompt and provided us everything we needed for a wonderful weekend! The views here are fantastic and is great area to enjoy the beach and all the other fun activities in and around Kure Beach. We highly recommend staying here and would definitely stay here again!
