The hotel is in an excellent location. We were in the dependence, which is not where the reception is, it's like a separate building. The building itself is nice, there is a nice common area where you can relax and it has air-con, plus there is a toilet you can even use after you check out if you need to shower or change. Our room was spacious and clean and the staff were very friendly.
The main issue was excessive noise; we were constantly disturbed by doors slamming, loud conversations through the thin walls from neighboring rooms, and early-morning construction right outside our window. Additionally, the mini-fridge emitted a regular clicking sound every 30 to 60 minutes that repeatedly woke us up.
The pillows were very flat and uncomfortable. The bathroom did not have an extraction fan, and the only window was placed too high to reach easily and had no insect screen. Finally, while the balcony was convenient for drying clothes, it was frequently affected by a strong, unpleasant sewage smell.
