The hotel is basic but clean, comfortable and well located. Air con worked well and shower pressure was good.There is no 24 hour reception but the hotel provided easy self-check in instructions. Free water in the room was appreciated.

- The location was great. Right next to the Mercado Atarazanas and in the city centre.
- The staff was very friendly and professional.
- The room itself was extremely small. It was advertised as "small" but you can barely walk around in it and I'm not a "big guy".
It felt very claustrophobic with one of the tiniest "windows" I have ever seen. It was almost comical.
And when you opened up that tiny window, a stench from the ground floor patio somehow managed to proliferate to my room, several floors higher.
- The room was really cold. The floor is tiled, which is great in the summer, but felt ice-cold when I was there. The room didn't get any sunlight because it was tucked away near the patio, which is in the centre of the building.
- The heating didn't work properly. It would shut down on its own.
- The shower is also really small. You can barely move around without accidentally hitting the shower levers.
The whole place just felt dated and is in desperate need of renovation.
