Breakfast was great - good choice of pastries, fruit, yoghurts, etc plus a very good selection of cooked breakfasts - poached eggs perfect! Dinn.er was again very good apart from the triple cooked chips which were on the hard/dry side. Bedroom very comfortable and bed very cosy
Not the hotel's fault but our sat nav sent us up two very steep hills before we eventually white knuckled it to the proper road!! It might be that this is something already highlighted by other guests but as this was a last minute booking, we didn't clock this challenge!

Lovely location, great spacious room, lovely public spaces. Good dinner and breakfast
Our large bedroom, didn't have a clean floor. A good vacuum would have made a big difference.

Beautiful hotel and room. Also like the nice sitting area by the fire and walking the grounds.
A little nerve wracking drive if you’re not used to single lane, 2-way traffic.

Ambience. Location. Comfort.
Food is awful.
Smelly pillows
Frugal biscuits.
