My stay here occurred from August 3-4, 2026. Staying here felt like staying at one's grandmother's house in the coziest and most tranquil way. The only thing that was missing was the milk and cookies and a fire in the fireplace. The atmosphere here was grand and elegant. Part pub and part hotel, this hotel was very orderly and clean. Staff was very nice and can assist you with your bags to your room if needed. I loved the vintage feel of the bar area - it felt like a Sherlock Holmes story.

My issues were minimal. Though there is body wash and shampoo available in the bathroom, there is no body lotion - which should be included. The location is a little out of the way from the center of town. If you prefer to have peace and quiet then you will enjoy your stay here.

Nice big room. Friendly staff. Restaurant good value and tasty. Decor in public areas lovely.

Was the dearest place we stayed but basic facilities for price. No air con or coffee machine which we have had in B and Bs for half this price around Ireland. Our room was very hot but noisy if we left window open.
