breakfast, beir garden, room, dinner, staff, all were exceptionally pleasant and comforting. The outside area walking area, was very enjoyable as well, being right on the river as well.
the road gaining access to the property was a bit narrow, and a little scary for someone that wasnt familiar with European road ways

Very clean. Very comfortable room and nicely decorated. Hotel was very good.
Staff rigid at first, but helpful after a bit of chatting. Landscape was magnificent.
The restaurant/ terrace kitchen closed at 8.30 pm, drinks at 10 pm. We arrived at 9pm and took a lot of persuasion at reception to be able to get a soup and a kind of teutonic pizza. One for two people.
And this while still 22 customers were enjoying their stay on the terrace having drinks and finishing their meal.
Maybe we just don’t understand the german culture of eating.

location, location, location. Not much more.
Staff was grumpy. Breakfast: laughable. Half a buffet, but rolls and coffee were pre-counted. You had to sit at the table number corresponding to your room number. Fawlty Towers revisited.
