A touch of taj :)

The hospitality was tiptop, in the indian restaurant (the thali set was awesome), the food, and the people they were great and we enjoyed the spa, and facial treatment too! overall loved the ambiance.

Only the bar drinks are too expensive and music is too loud when you are inside. Other than that, it was awesome!

Fantastic hotel with some surprising low points

The decor, the ambiance and the behaviour of the hotel staff.

The dinner items were not properly named. For example 1) they were offering "Beef" in the name of "tenderloin" which means soft meat from the sides of any animal. They didn't mention it was beef and the most surprising of all was that, they were ignorant of the meaning of the word "tenderloin". 2) They were also offering some meat item as "Lal Mas" which means "Red meat" in Hindi. It didn't mention whether the meat was beef, pork, lamb or goat. These are absolutely not expected from Taj Hotel

It was an excellent stay apt for our visit. it was also a fruitful visit for us.

Breakfast was good as expected, few more Indian dishes could have been better. Location was apt for the purpose we came for, if and when anybody ask for the same purpose we will recommend this hotel only.

could have a better chair inside the room for sitting, also very small bathing cubical.

Exceptional service as usual.

Exceptional service. Family enjoyed the stay, special mention to Lakshmi at F&B for her great service and for going out of the way to make sure we had a nice time during breakfast, especially my daughter. Special mention to Satish, the gym trainer..very helpful with suggestions and good conversations. Thanks!

Value for money. Would definitely recommend it highly mainly because of staff attitude!!

Dinner was great. The staff at Anise were excellent.. especially Ram at dinner time and Saif and Subbu at breakfast. Subbu’s attention to detail was on point. He noticed we had a slight throat irritation and got us this excellent herbal drink that worked like a charm.Maaz and Jasmine at the front office were exceptional too.

Exceptional. Will go back whenever I visit Chennai.

This is an outstanding hotel. The best service I have enjoyed at any 5-star property.

A coffee machine in the room would be nice. Absolutely nothing else.

Unbelievable experience at Taj Coromandel

It was a Wonderful experience to try this hotel. Excellent hotel with excellent location located at the city center,extremely clean & comfortable . Upon arrival we were warmly welcomed by the friendly reception staff. supermarket ,shops and restaurants are within walking distance. Would definetely recommend this hotel to everybody! It's a true sample of excellent hospitality. special thanks to Mahasweta and subbu

Our stay was so exceptional, I didn't want to leave.

Even though the amenities, location, comfort, cleanliness, and all the usual parameters of a hotel were great, the real winner at Coromandel are the staff. Right from front office, to the Tea Lounge, to the restaurants, housekeeping, and groundsmen, the staff are extraordinary and exceptional. Many have worked there for 25+ years, and that is a true testament to the hotel.

Loved the stay.. very friendly staff.. Excellent service

1. Staffs were extremely friendly and welcoming.. especially the front desk.. Mr. Manikandan and Ms. Sobita were wonderful and extended a very warm welcome after our long and tiring early morning flight 2. Breakfast buffet.. spread was adequate & taste was OK but again the service was excellent 3. Room was clean and spacious.. room service was excellent 4. Mr. Ram from Anise who served us our lunch after check-out was very friendly and helpful.. excellent service once again

1. Hallways were slightly noisy in the morning during their cleaning.. we were tired and wanted to get some sleep but found it difficult
