Brilliant hotel right in the middle of beautiful Mayrhofen

Lovely hotel right in the middle of the beautiful town Mayrhofen. We have stayed at this hotel before and had the large room at the front of the property overlooking the square at the front which was wonderful. This time, we had a double room with balcony on the third floor at the side of the property. The room was perfectly ok but the balcony had no parasol and was far too hot to sit on from around mid day to early evening. The breakfast is extremely good, large selections of breads, meats, cheeses, jams, fresh vegetables, scrambled or boiled eggs, bacon, cereals, fresh fruit, wonderful coffee latte machine and fruit juices. There is a Billa shop directly opposite the hotel and as we like a drink on the balcony at the end of the night, the staff very kindly put our beer and coke in the hotel fridge until we came back. The car park is underground and very secure. The wifi is good.

Could do with a parasol on the balcony.

Position in the centre of town. Great parking under the hotel. Room to store bicycle securely in the basement. Great choice for breakfast.

No kettle or tea/coffee making facilities in the rooms..

Fantastic hotel with friendly staff and good location

Friendly and helpful staff. Good location. Clean hotel and room. Great breakfast choice. Got me oat milk - thank you.

The only thing we can think of is the twin room was a little bit small but ok for the amount of time you spend in it. A ski holiday is about the slopes not the room.

Central position close to skiingfacilities and trainstation. Very friendly and professionnel personnel. Excellent breakfast

Hearing the Church bells ringing at 7am, makes for quite a wake-up . Hotel is right next to it

Perfect location for a great price.

Incredibly central location. Easy walk to Penken / Ahorn lifts and short walk to train station for Zell & Tux connections. Fantastic staff and beautifully clean hotel.

Well-situated hotel

Very well located, close to the center, next to a ski bus stop and within walking distance from restaurants and the train station. Nice sauna area. Rich and diverse breakfast.

Walls are somewhat thin, so sound insulation is not foolproof.

Pleasant stay in a handy location.

Staff were really friendly and helpful. Ski room was really useful. Breakfast had nice options. Location was good for walking up to gondolas and surrounded by nice places to eat.

Disappointing

The location was great, the room had a great view , the breakfast was good

We had a problem that involved missing money and police. The attitude of manager was unprofessional. At the end the problem was solved.

Would recommend without hesitation

Very friendly and helpful staff throughout. Rooms spotless and comfortable, with all required facilities. Excellent breakfast selection. Location very convenient to ski bus route and to local shopping, restaurants etc. Great value for money.

Central location with a great breakfast and sauna.

Breakfast was very nice. Sauna room was clean and very relaxing after snowboarding. Very central location, with supermarket just across the road.

Hotel wanted to do things its way, rather than be flexible to circumstances. It dictates rather than listens... e.g. Offering me a coffee with breakfast every day because they think that is service, but I clearly already have tea on my table. They were bothered that I did not sit at the breakfast table with my name on it, but I did not want to sit so close to so many people and wanted to sit alone. e.g. On the very first day I was not allowed to take a clean snowboard up to my room (before using it). Their excuse was that I might break things... I might have broken things out of frustration! I am not 17 - I think I can handle placing a clean snowboard next to the door in my room. e.g. Housekeeping knocking on the door very early to see if I want the room cleaned, when I actually I wanted to sleep. I found the 'Do not disturb' sign for the next morning, but the knocking was way too early on the first morning still. ALSO: I am quite tall so the bed was not big enough for me - I had to sleep diagonally. The step in the room was very annoying - I bumped my foot on it multiple times.
