Everything about the Hotel was very adequate and the pool facilities, Spa and surroundings lovely.
The pools were a nice temperature and the relaxing areas quite spacious with a very relaxing atmosphere...even with many guests it was quiet enough to relax and tune out.
Obviously the adults only is a good bonus.
The quality and cost of the spa treatments were excellent.
And the Hotel Staff in all the facilities were quickly responsive to any requests.
The only area in the Hotel where there is room for improvement is the restaurant.
I admit I come from a long line of restaurant owners and managers, however I always give credit where credit is due.
Unfortunately, the food was never served with that extra care which makes a difference and in both of our dinners the food was not served at the proper temperature, (cool or cold at best) compromising what might otherwise have been a good meal.

A truly relaxing adults-only retreat with great spa and atmosphere
We really enjoyed our stay at this adults-only property. There’s a great variety of swimming pools, and the large garden with expansive walking areas adds to the peaceful atmosphere. The staff were friendly and always smiling, which made us feel welcome from the very beginning.
The SPA interior is particularly beautiful – spacious chill-out zones and a calming ambience throughout. One of the highlights of our stay was the 20-minute mindful break offered to hotel guests: it included sound therapy with singing bowls, gentle aromas, and a subtle forehead massage in a dedicated relaxation room. A wonderful experience.
Our room was very spacious and comfortable, and having two bathrooms made our stay even more convenient.
The location is also perfect – just a 10-minute drive to the historic center of Viterbo, ideal for an evening walk at sunset in the papal town. The property is about 1.5 hours by car from Rome’s airport, which made it an easy and scenic journey.
Overall, we had a lovely time, fully relaxed, and would definitely return.
The only downside was the weak Wi-Fi in the room, which made it difficult to load websites or use streaming services.
At breakfast, we noticed a lack of vegetables, which was a bit of a challenge as my wife is vegetarian. We did order fried eggs from the kitchen and were kindly served them with tomatoes, which was a nice gesture and gave us a helpful option. Still, we would recommend expanding the breakfast selection to include some basic vegetables or a couple of light salads – it would definitely add value for guests with plant-based preferences.

The pools are nice, the outdoor area seems like it has been kept in shape. The coffee was good.
To begin with, half of the second floor was under construction without any information upfront. The solar panels on the roof had also been dismantled during our stay as well as some guy using a gas "flamethrower" on the roof above the pool bar while we and others were sitting below. In general, the pool bar was basically never staffed and us and other guests were unable to order drinks. In general, the service needs training and the breakfast needs a quality upgrade.
There is a military airport next door and you hear helicopters starting and landing all day long - something to consider when coming here.
During the thunderstorm, the electricity was gone multiple times, so we had to unplug all our electronic devices etc.
The first bed was too hard and the second one (we got an upgrade to make up for all early issues) was too soft. There are barely any possibilities to hang wet towels or anything. The A/C in both rooms was running but ineffectively. In the suite, one of the two A/C was rattling so we turned it off.
One day, we asked the reception to book a taxi for the next morning. When we came to the reception the guy at the reception had no idea what I was talking about and struggled to find a taxi that could take us to the main station.
We planned a second trip and asked the reception again to book us a taxi for the next day, but also to confirm that it is booked the evening prior. This happened and would have worked out.
But then we ate something bad at their restaurant and fell sick for two days - this kept us from taking that second trip and we lost our tickets to Vatican and others.
The hotel manager insisted for days to speak to us, but we just wanted to enjoy what was left of our stay. During checkout she then took the route "it cannot be said, if it was our food" and other excuses just to make us feel like we were the bad guys. She crossed off that dinner from our invoice as a gesture of good will.
