Best to steer clear

Location good, and metro and Yu Garden just around the corner.

The toilet got blocked too easily every night. The aircon was inefficient so the room was always unpleasantly warm. My children got food poisoning eating in their restaurant. As a result, we had to rearrange our flight at the last minute, which cost a lot, since there was no way we could get the children to the airport early in the morning as they had been up all night being sick. Had to stay an extra night in Shanghai, but this particular hotel was fully booked and couldn't offer us a room for one more night, so we also had the hassle of having to find overnight accommodation for our family somewhere else. When I complained, the best response I got was "Hello, we have conveyed your feedback about the meal to the restaurant, they just investigated the food last night and found no abnormality. We are deeply sorry for what happened to you, but now we cannot confirm that your child feels sick because he used the hotel's dinner last night, and we cannot give you additional compensation." How could they investigate the food last night when it had been eaten already? It was definitely food poisoning from their restaurant as we hadn't eaten anywhere else that day.

При выселении нам выдали чек с суммой проживания, мы сказали ок и уехали, а в итоге Отель сняли денег на 105$ больше. Отправили запрос в отель но тишина (

La posizione è ottima vicino ai Giardini YU. Anche la lobby è carina. La piscina purtroppo era in ristrutturazione quindi non abbiamo potuto utilizzarla. Qualità prezzo buono. a 500 metri nella Shanghai vecchia ci sono molti ristoranti e negozi.

La colazione non mi ha entusiasmato, non mi sembra all'altezza di un 5 stelle. In generale è un hotel discreto ma non è un 5 stelle rinomato.

It was a nice and comfortable stay with lovely views of the bundt from the room. We enjoyed our stay very much.

The location was good and close to the MRT station.

Great hotel but need more attention to the drains smell problem.

Staff arranged for our rooms to be close together. The location was also great and very near shopping areas. The staff were very helpful showing us where to get on the city tour bus - even got someone to chaperone us directly to the stop! Room is very spacious and very comfy beds.

Dreadful smell of drains in the bathroom.

Great location and fantastic family rooms!

The family room was gorgeous for us and our two daughters. Stunning view. The location is absolutely fantastic, within walking distance from The Bund.

The pool was closed for renovation, which we regretted because it is one of the reasons why we had chosen the hotel. But the hotel staff kindly arranged for us to visit the Westin pool instead, which we enjoyed.

Convenient location, friendly and efficient staffs all the around! Good value for the money!

Walking distance to Yu garden, city of god food plaza, old town park, bund and nanjing road. Also there are many shopping malls around. Fu You Men shopping mall is next door. Metro station is across from the hotel, line 10 directly to Shanghai Zoo. We love Shanghai!

First room had a wired smell, front desk is supper friendly and professional. He gave me an upgrade which I think it is fair for the price I paid.

Schönes Hotel mit guter Lage

Das Hotel hat eine sehr gute Lage. Die Metrostation sowie der Yuyan Garden sind nur wenige Gehminuten entfernt. Der Ausblick aus dem Zimmer und der Dachterasse auf den BUND sind toll. Das Frühstücksbuffet ist sehr vielfältig und gut. Die Mitarbeiter sind freundlich und einige sprechen gutes Englisch.

Die Zimmer sind zwar schön eingerichtet allerdings sind die Möbel etwas in die Jahre gekommen (Türen klemmen, Kratzer). Leider gibt es auch kein Fenster zum öffnen. Die Preise für das Essen des Roomservice sowie Kaffee in der Lobby (zwei Americao kosten ungefähr 14€) sind aus meiner Sicht zu hoch.

Ontbijt was heel goed, er was genoeg keus voor iedereen. De kamer was prettig, comfortabele bedden en schoon!

De prijs in de lobby voor een cappuccino en een thee, 18 euro!!

good hotel, great location, clean

Room is lovely. we had a family room which was rare in shanghai. plenty of space for 4 of us. location is very convenient as it is opposite the metro station and Yu Garden. we walked to most places. swimming pool was gorgeous and highlight for the kids. it is lovely to go for a swim at the end of a hectic day

breakfast was 200RMB each so we didnt eat there. on our last day i got the concierge to post my stamped postcard and the guy said he need to get 20RMB for it - never have i went anywhere that i need to pay to drop something in the postbox! eventually he said he will do it when i refused. Then i asked about Taxi to huangqiao airport - i got one ready to order on DiDi app, he said no i got one ready for you outside. I asked how much it would be and he said the driver will tell me on the meter, which it wasnt. When i came to pay it was 125RMB when i was quoted 80RMB. i did wonder if the guy is on commission. it is also telling as the driver would rather take cash from me (rare in china on our trip) rather than us paying on Alipay as i insisted to do so. we were rushing and rather not have to argue about the charge so we paid on the App and caught our flight. unfortunately that did leave a slightly annoying note at the end of our wonderful trip.

Hotel lindo com um serviço rápido e excecional. Pequeno almoço ótimo.

O quarto duplo com duas camas de casal devia ter as camas mais largas pois eram de 1,40m de largura, o que não é muito confortável para para lá ficar dois adultos.

A bit overpriced. 10% reduction would be more reasonable given the lack of facilities.

Location is nice, near to Yu garden 10mins walking. Metro station just opposite.

Driveway rather congested and drivers would, at times, stuck outside. Not much facilities and the local Wi-Fi is only good for emails and browsing local websites.

Travel with kids

極差！訂購40平方米的房型給了我28平方米！

地理位置相當方便、早餐如果能夠準時6:00開始的話，早餐食物還行

在Booking上面預定的房型是40平方米+獨立浴缸的房型，實際入住僅28平方米+老舊浴缸…. 整個過程有嚴重瑕疵，前台推說訂房網站上描述有落差是訂房網站上的問題，實際過去一年多來我使Booking訂的房間僅有這一家是如此落差！說好的6點有早餐，結果6:16早餐供應選項不到20%，嚴重影響我們後續行程，空著肚子去機場！我補上照片06:16餐廳連個麵包都沒擺上！重點40變成28，也沒有退費的意思，也沒有任何道歉，說真的，太爛了就可以

Recommend, recommend highly if they renovate the pool. good option for a family.

The breakfast was great, inclusive for international cultures and delicious. Staff was really friendly and helpful and their English was good. Kid friendly

Cleaning could be better // plus the pool does not look like it's posted, pool area definitely needs renovations.

スタッフがみんな親切でした。中国語が分からなくても、フロントでは英語が通じます。また日本語を話せるスタッフもいました。部屋についてですが、私たちが泊まった部屋はあまり広くありませんでしたが、掃除は行き届いており、ネスプレッソや空気清浄機もあり、とても快適でした。シャワーの圧力もちょうど良く、お湯もすぐ出ました。それから、タオルや歯ブラシを追加したいときなどはカスタマーサービスに電話すると、いつも5分以内で持って来てくれました。また、朝食は種類も多くとても美味しかったです。基本中華料理ですが、どれもクセがなく日本人好みの味付けです。おでんがあり、出汁がきいていて美味しかった！パンも美味しかったです。それからロケーションですが、「豫園」駅から徒歩3分くらいでとても便利です。

ドライヤーの差し込み口が洗面所になかったので、困りました。フロントから客室に行くエレベーターが３つしかないので、人が移動する時間帯は、来たエレベーターが満員で乗れないことが二回くらいありました。

Great stay

The location was excellent, and a few mins walk to Yu Garden subway and near to Yu Garden with lots of great foods. Hotel staff at 1st storey were friendly. Fast response when help was needed from the maintenance team The hotel room was big enough for 4 of us, and the room was well-cleaned daily. Our favourite was actually the Disney vendor machine at 1st storey.

Hmmm~all was great, except it would be better if there was a self-laundry room.

Muy buen hotel

El hotel queda cerca de muchas zonas turísticas. Es muy fácil ubicarse y la estación del metro está justo cruzando la calle. Las habitaciones son amplias, cómodas y el desayuno delicioso. El personal muy amable. Fue una estancia maravillosa. Recomendado.

O comércio próximo não era tão bom, não tinha 7 eleven ou Family Mart próximos.

Great hotel near Yu Garden

Fantastic location, right next to Yu Garden area. Very nice 5 star hotel, with fantastic breakfast selection. The AC in the room was not great, and it looked absolutely horrid inside, like it hasn't been cleaned in a decade. But everything else was pretty good.

AC unit was a cesspit.
