This beautiful hotel is in a lovely secluded location. It's very quiet during the day and night and you can walk in the woods and around lakes (one you can swim in) straight from the hotel, without needing to drive anywhere. There's a mini golf course and lake only 20 minutes away on foot. The breakfast was copious and of excellent quality, the room was beautifully furnished and maintained, the bed very comfortable. We ate in the bistro twice and thoroughly enjoyed it. The grounds are lovely, with seats in the garden and romantic lighting at night. We intend to return to go to the restaurant which was closed when we were there.
You have to order at the bistro at 20h at the latest which was a little early.

Best breakfast in the land, a beautiful and calming place we have been coming regularly to, for more than a decade now! Lovely as always! The most reasonable choice for a relaxing weekend or mid-week break in the area.

The area is beautiful and the room was spacious.
The staff were friendly but not overly helpful. No porter to help with heavy bags.
The room had spiderwebs in the cupboards and the shower shampoo was in a locked holder outside of the shower. We asked for the room to be serviced but it was not. Dirty glasses were left, bed not made, the only thing that looked different was the shower mat was folded up.
