Located in Gettysburg, this charming condo for $175 per night is a fantastic choice for your next trip. Imagine yourself back in the year 1863 when you take in the festivities of our 150th anniversary of the civil war at Gettysburg! You will have fun exploring the area; the adventurous will enjoy touring the 40 miles of battlefield roads (by bicycle, horseback or vehicle), tour a civil war house, talk to the soldiers in encampments and reenactments, or take a haunted ghost tour by night. At the end of the day you can relax and enjoy your stay at our newly renovated 1st floor accommodation located on historic baltimore street in downtown Gettysburg. There are 2 bedrooms (a queen bed in each), a day bed in the second bedroom and can sleep 5. There is 1 bathroom which consists of a tub/shower combo, a fully fitted eat in kitchen, a TV/sitting room with cable TV, and Wifi. We provide you with towels, linens, pots and pans, utensils, coffee maker, toaster, iron and board, hair dryer, everything that will make you feel right at home! You will love the location. We are with-in walking distance to restaurants, museums, the national cemetery where Lincoln gave his address, art galleries, shops, and everything else Gettysburg has to offer. Leave the driving to someone else and hop on the local trolley to see other out of town sites including the new national park service visitor center & museum, and cyclorama. You can take a day trip to surrounding Hershey park (50 miles), Washington DC (60 miles), Lancaster PA Dutch country (45 miles), or skiing about 10 minutes south of town.

Wonderful place to stay in the heart of Gettysburg. Walk to the many restaurants in the town, step out the back door and there’s Cemetery Ridge and Culp’s Hill. Rod is the perfect host, and the historic house contains everything that could be needed.

I took my husband of 14 wonderful years to see Gettysburg. He is an avid lover of history so I wanted to take him to a place that was ripe with. The apartment was lovely and in its own right a part of the history. The surrounding area was a dream of history and beauty, loss and victory. We were there for 2 days and didn’t see everything. We are both looking forward to going again. And will gladly stay here again.

This rental is exactly as described. It is very clean and comfortable. The beds were great as well. We had our coffee on the deck and enjoyed the morning. We enjoyed that it’s location is within walkable district to shops and some points of interest. Parking on site is another perk. Rod met us at check in and was very helpful. We would definitely stay here again should we return to Gettysburg.

This was a perfect place to stay when visiting Gettysburg. It was very walkable to restaurant and shops. The house is very comfortable and Ron can give you lots of information about Gettysburg since he is native. I would definitely stay there again.

Great location. Near everything so you can walk. Many places to eat nearby. Loved that we could bring our dogs. Owner is super nice and can tell you anything you need to know about the area. Definitely recommend.

Very nice accommodations in an historic house. Great location near battlefields and restaurants and shops. This first floor apartment includes a grassy area plus cozy deck with table. This is our second stay here, and we plan to come back again!

My boyfriend and I had a wonderful stay at this lovely place! Super clean, well-stocked, and comfortable. I felt right at home immediately. It was spacious, clean, and well-appointed. The hosts were wonderful and even accommodated scheduling changes. I cannot think of a single complaint! Gettysburg itself is awesome! So much to do and see in a small geographic area. And this place was in a perfect location!! We could walk to everything and there was even a parking space in the back. We had a great time and truly enjoyed staying here!!

We had a great stay at Rod’s place in downtown Gettysburg. My 3 college friends and I thought the location was perfect to get to town and to campus. Rod has parking spaces in the back so we could leave our cars and walk everywhere. The size of both apartments was perfect. Both apartments were in great condition, too. The beds were very comfortable. We enjoyed using the umbrella table and chairs on the back deck for catching up with each other over drinks and appetizers!

We (Myself, my husband Michael and dear friend Laura) stayed here for a week during GIG (Greyhounds in Gettysburg 2022) and we absolutely loved the place. Perfect location, close walking distance to so many attractions and restaurants and a very comfortable apartment to stay in. We have already booked our stay for next GIG 2023 and would highly recommend this place. Plus being able to bring our greyhounds with us was a added plus. We all had a wonderful time. Rod met us when we arrived and told us alittle about the place and was always there to answer any questions we had. It truly was a Home Away From Home.
