Our room looked out onto a Dart line & it was quite noisy.

The rather plain exterior makes the quality space of the interior a very pleasant surprise. Whilst the exterior is a little 'tired', the interior is bright, well maintained and comfortable, both in the room and in the public areas.
Complimentary toiletries were replenished and the beds and pillows were full size and comfy.
The breakfast is provided to a high standard from a well run top notch kitchen by an attentive, observant, smiling smartly dressed waiting team. The reception team are equally smart, cheerful and helpful even when dealing with difficult situations.
They also provide a bag room to store luggage for collection prior to onward travel allowing more freedom to enjoy Dublin.
The bar staff also offer great service up to 11pm in comfortable surrounds with food options.
The hotel lacks double or triple glazing which is unfortunate if your room overlooks the front door, the Luas track, the Busarus and the Dart. The pedestrian area is machine washed from 6am and there are 4 tone chimes sounding off in the Busarus every 20 seconds from 7am. So a lot of encouragement to have an early start to the sights & sounds of Dublin. Hence the low score for location. Otherwise, The Beresford is in a great spot to walk from for any destination or to use as a stopover before the next stage of your Ireland adventure.
