Staff were very pleasant, rooms were tidy and a comfortable bed, we had a lovely bath in our room, breakfasts were also tasty and a good amount of options.
We originally booked a garden view room with our dog, had messaged the hotel via booking regarding bringing our dog and it got confirmed but when we arrived the hotel apparently didn’t know we were bringing a dog so the garden view room we booked and paid for wasn’t available, we were put in a room that didn’t have a garden view.
The room itself could have done with a bit of a freshen up, there was marks all over the walls and the carpet was a little scruffy with stains on, also stains on the fabric chairs.
The menu at the restaurant was also very poor with only 5 main meals that didn’t seem appetising to me or my partner.

The bed was comfortable. Nice bed room. Good shower and bath.
The breakfast is very expensive £15 and awful. Poor quality bread… cereal. The breakfast room was clinical and corporate. Only a handful of people eating … we were all placed together in the centre of the huge room…why? It would have been better to seat everyone near the gardens and block off the rest of the room making it a bit cosier. No coffee pots only coffee on request …a cup at a time. No tablecloth? It all felt very impersonal.
