The accomodation was clean, comfortable, with facilities to prepare a simple meal or snack if required. The bed was great. Shower worked well. Aircon did the job. The views from the accomodation and the surrounding area are idyllic. You have a beautiful view of the valley to greet you every morning with the old town of Assisi visible in the distance. What struck us was how peaceful the place is. Plenty of space to sit out and enjoy the views or use the swimming pool. Excellent walking country. We ended up eating most of our meals in their restaurant as the food is excellent, mostly their own organic produce, fairly priced. I particularly enjoyed the olive oil and the amazing cheese! The staff are a pleasure. They are a great team who understand the art of hospitality. We always found them helpful, professional, friendly and enthusiastic with a ready smile, even at the end of a long shift. A good base if you want to explore Umbria and of course Assisi is a very special place. We will happily come back again. The road up the hill is a winding and steep country road but it is perfectly navigable for a truck never mind a car.

Parking. I thought the rooms were damp, no air conditioning and spiders.
