Hostel was nicer inside than outside. Updated the on-suites, an amazing shower. The basic room although clean, smelt smokey hence the lower scoring had 3 beds & desk.
Parking right outside are reserved for hostel guests, we were lucky to get the parking, as on main road, soundproof room, communal area had table and chairs.
Close to shops if you like shopping.
Would like to recommend this hostel.

Aging décor is well maintained. Great value for money. I’ve been traveling to Salamanca for many years and this place feels like traveling back in time several decades. The staff are friendly and the place is no-frills, but bright and clean. The bed was very comfortable too. We’ll be back.
Other guests who have trouble figuring out how to open and lock their doors and make a lot of noise in the corridor, but this was sporadic and brief.

We were charged 9 Euros for breakfast on our last day. We only had a hot tea. It was not made clear that we had to pay for breakfast.
