A Amelia really is a Retreat, a safe haven to escape. The staff are amazing, wonderfully friendly and helpful. Panos helped us so much with sourcing quad bikes, helping with printing for the wedding, recommending restaurants and places to go.
Unfortunately we had 2 power cuts, which meant the showers wouldn’t work, this wasn’t the retreats fault, but there was no back up plan and fortunately it came back on before it got dark. A shame there wasn’t bar facilities early evening, for guests to enjoy.

We had an absolute great time at this resort and I can recommend it to everyone. Panos was extremly kind, generous and helpful and the breakfast was everyday delicious! They offer great Yoga and SUP and free umbrellas and snorkel for the beach! The pool area is really relaxing and I would defenitely go back again! Thank you for everything! You guys do an awesome job!

The staff were fantastic and extremely flexible and service minded. Its the staff that really make the accomodation welcoming and pleasant! Keep up the good work Anemelia team and thanks for the great restaurant recommendations! We tried the breakfast one morning, a bit limited but the options that were there were well prepared. Nice that the place had its own parking especially when arriving by rental car! Sunchairs always available which is very nice but a bit annoying to have a road running directly behind the pool area.
For an accomodation that is marketed as a retreat, the location in the central part of Laganas literally minutes away from the main party street makes me quite frustrated. You could hear the party people at night until 5AM in the morning when the clubs close. My fiancé and I stayed there for 3 nights (second half of July) and during 2 of the 3 days we had parents playing with their kids in the pool hitting beach balls back and forth, not appropriate at all for how a true retreat should be!
A bit odd that no staff was onsite for roughly 5 hours per day when the ”reception” was closed between 1-6 PM. However they were always available on whatsapp but the lack of hours leaves more to wish.
The pool is nice but easily feels crowded when you have 4-5 people in it. Rooms and balconies on ground floor are right on top of pool area so privacy is more or less zero which has a negative impact om rooms unless you keep curtains closed. Annoying with the generators on each balcony, does not give a nice touch to the place!
