Passable

It was budget room.

Cleanliness. Breakfast was not so good. Chairs are not clean. Staff doesn’t speak good English. Location is odd to visit tourist places.

Very good

Breakfast was great, good variety of western and Chinese food. Restaurant and cleaning staff were friendly and helpful. Really nice water pressure in the shower. Overall a pleasant experience.

Communication was challenging, normally translators on phones work, but in this case it did not work well with reception staff. I was unhappy that my deposit was not returned the same day as check out. All other hotels have returned deposits the same day. And when enquiring with booking.com and the hotel I have got little response. I hope this is resolved shortly,

I WISH TO GO BACKAGAIN IN MY NEXT TRIP TO SHANGHAI. EXCELLENT PLACE AND CONFORT FOR ME.

VERY RICH BREAKFAST WITH TOO MANY DELICACES. CHINESE AND WESTERN FOOD AND BEVERAGE. THE ROOM WAS VERY SPACIOUS, CONFORTABLE, SOUND ISOLATED, VERY WELL LIGHTED, READING LIGHTS FROM THE CEILING AND BED LIGHTS BOTH SIDE OF BEDS, QUITE LARGE WESTERN STYLE BED, WITING TABLE AND SWINGING OFFICE ARMCHAIR, VERY USEFUL PORTABLE DESK LIGHT, LONG SOFA AND TEA TABLE, WINDOW FROM SIDE TO SIDE LOOKING ALL OVER THE SUROUNDING AREA, DOUBLE COUTAINS, FAST INTERNET. WELL KNOWN TO TAXI DRIVERS AROUND THE AREA, WALKING DISTANCE (300M)FROM METRO LINE 6, JINQIAO ROAD STATION. VERY GOOD CHOISE.!!!!!

Good location and nice rooms, but little things have gone downhill

Good location and good wifi. The breakfast is pretty good and the staff is nice and helpful. The shower is great and the aircon worked well.

I have stayed before and enjoyed the hotel, so I booked again. They changed the soap/shampoo in the shower from their previously excellent products to a very cheap soap/shampoo combination that is worthless and not worthy of the Holiday Inn Express brand.

Excellent hotel for great value!

I spend over 50 nights per year in hotels and have come to trust the ratings hear on Booking.com, but I must say I don't understand the rating for this property. I had reasonable, but measured expectations for this property but they were far exceeded. I spent two nights in a very comfortable room, with good air conditioning, excellent wifi, a wonderful shower, and a delicious breakfast. The staff were all very friendly and helpful and I will stay here again. The location is wonderful if you are looking in the Pudong area.

No complaints.
