Good for short business trip, lovely staff.

The staff was very helpful and kind. Special thanks to Vugar, the manager of the restaurant for being very hospital and delivering great service. Also to cleaning ladies Aynur and Ilnara. The room was very clean every day, water supplied with no limits. We just contacted them when we needed some supplies, everything was delivered with no additional charge.

The hotel itself requires some renovation. The menu is ok but for 5 starts hotel the food is quite simple. Good for having a lunch during business trip, but not more.

Very good

Old Hotel with good interiors. A bit cut off from the main city. The breakfast was very good and staff was very friendly. The size of the rooms were very good. Ample parking space.

Traffic to the place could be bad during peak hours. The side road leading to the hotel looked very quiet and dark at night.

Short stay in Baku

It was a business trip for me right before Formula 1. The hotel is not new and the facilities looks little bit old and some times not practical. The hotel is located in a quite area and if you get room with the windows to the back yard you will enjoy the the silence compare to the other side that comes out to the busy road. What I really liked it was the bed. It was very comfortable with a hard mattress. You would never feel any back pain after sleeping in such bed. 10 points for it! The breakfast was alright. The staff is very friendly and helpful. For the conclusion it is nice hotel for offered price.

The facilities of the bathroom. For me it was a little challenge to get in to the bath to take a shower :) because except high bathroom itself there were installed the glass curtains. The total height is about the middle of your hip. So you need to rise your leg quite high. Getting out also is a little challenge :) if you are old and not a sportsmen it might be an issue for you.

Good option away from downtown.

Nice hotel in a safe area, right next to some embassies. Spacious rooms, good breakfast and not that far from downtown. We walked several times and it took us a good 1 hour walk to get to the center, but there are plenty of shops and restaurants on the way.

The only thing that was not meeting the standards of the hotel was the Wi-Fi. Most of the time there you could not connect to the network at all, and when you do, the internet was really slow and unstable.

Grand Hotel Europe is a great choice.

As we were a group, we took also a third room Deluxe double room, everything was amazing. 10/10 Location is very secure as it is full of Embassies. Check my previous review.

Very decent hotel with friendly staff

Excellent hospitality especially staff Ali Ramzani and Ursula are very supportive. Good location.

Rooms were capacious and comfortable

Bathroom showers flow was very low. No drain outlet if water spills outside shower area. Breakfast was not upto the expectations of 5 star Hotel.

Okay

The staff is very cooperative and kind. The building is old and the furniture and fixtures doesn’t give the 5 star standard look. Breakfast needs to be changed and more continental dishes should be introduced. The washroom fixtures should also be replaced.
